Hakela's standout feature is the automation of invoice reconciliation and payment tracking, offering a seamless and innovative payment experience for all users (personnel and corporate).
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
In Mozambique, merchants play a crucial role in the economy by delivering services and products to consumers. However, they encounter difficulties when collecting funds promptly. To address this, they either open multiple banking accounts or utilize physical point-of-sale (POS) machines or e-wallets. The primary challenge lies in reconciling transactions and receiving real-time funds from any issuing financial institution.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
[1] - Invoice Referencing : Hakela's reference generator ensures unambiguous identification of invoices; [2] - Invoice Delivery : Hakela's router provides a unique and most effective way to deliver an invoice to the payer's preference; [3] - Real-time payment confirmation : Hakela automatically sends notifications to the merchant upon payment effectiveness. [4] - Streamline the reconciliation process between merchant's bank statement and daily sales by automating it.

It enables institutions committed to supporting disadvantaged communities to use the platform to instruct top-ups as well as track the utilization of funds. This feature of Hakela can be instrumental in ensuring food security and supporting the goal of Zero Hunger by facilitating the distribution and monitoring of food aid resources.

10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
While not directly related to my own endeavors, my wife has recently established a kindergarten in the local community where we’ve built our home. The kindergarten’s mission is to offer top-quality education to young children, providing a nurturing environment for them to learn and grow while their parents engage in entrepreneurial activities or work to enhance their family’s livelihood.
