Describe your project or startup in a few words
The initiative aims to locally manufacture and distribute cleaner cooking stoves, leading to a direct transformation in people's lives. Reducing C02 emissions and reducing disforestation.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Green4all aims to revolutionize cooking practices, leading to better health, environmental sustainability, and economic benefits for millions in Mozambique by providing clean cooking solutions. The project will manufacture cooking stoves and resell to households, small restaurants, and schools mainly in rural areas.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The main problem to be solve is the complete substitution of traditional cooking stoves which negatively impact millions of people in Mozambique and also provide more freedom in terms of money and reduced time collecting charcoal for women.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
Reduced Indoor Air Pollution: Cleaner stoves emit fewer harmful pollutants, improving indoor air quality and reducing respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. Reduced Burn Risks: Many improved stoves are designed to be safer, lowering the risk of burns and accidents. Lower Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Improved combustion efficiency and alternative fuels reduce CO2 and methane emissions. Reduced Deforestation: More efficient stoves and alternative fuels lessen the demand for firewood. Cost Savings: Efficient stoves require less fuel, reducing the expense and time associated with fuel collection.
01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
The target beneficiaries are all the households that use traditional stoves to cook their meals. In the first phase we will target the population of Beira in Sofala province which were severed affected by the hurricane IDAI and many are living in dislodging areas

7 - Strongly Agree
02.03.02 Good health and well-being - Justification
Women suffer the most due to limited access to clean cooking solutions, spending an average of five hours daily collecting fuel and cooking. The traditional charcoal produces too much smoke which put in danger the people using it. With this initiative of clean cooking stove this will contribute to reduce C02 emission which contributes to harm many people who use the traditional cooking in Mozambique.

02.13.02 Climate action - Justification
Reduced Emissions: Traditional cooking methods often involve burning biomass (wood, charcoal, etc.) inefficiently, leading to significant emissions of black carbon, methane, and other pollutants. Cleaner cooking stoves produce fewer emissions per unit of energy generated. Mitigation of Climate Change: By reducing emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) and short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) like black carbon, cleaner cooking stoves contribute to mitigating climate change. These stoves help decrease the carbon footprint associated with cooking activities, which is particularly significant in in many areas of Mozambique.
