My project is about poultry farming and production. I would like to rear different types of birds including chicken,turkeys,ducks and guinea fowls.My aim is to become a big poultry farmer and be able to employ the jobless ,expand and develop my farming.

Poultry farming deals with rearing of domisticated birds which includes chicken,ducks, turkey's, guinea fowls ,pigeons ,geese and many others with the aim of producing eggs an meat for food.In my project I would like to rear chicken , turkey's,ducks and guinea fowls.My project would only rely on layers farming since the birds could also be used as meat.I would like to construct a coop where the birds will stay and a sturdy fence to protect them from predators.Inside the coop I would like to put wateres, feeders,nests perches and ventilation system which will enable room temperature maintenance.My aim is to increase agricultural production and reduce malnutritional levels in Kenya and also provide jobs to the jobless.I would like to start with a manageable number of birds like 50 chickens,35 guinea fowls,15 ducks and 7 turkeys therefore I will expand overtime.For the eggs to hatch I will need egg incubators and the eggs will hatch depending on the type of bird and also they require food
