If afforded the requisite springboard, I would roll out a county-wide tree nurseries of both indigenous and exotic trees that I'll be tendered side by side with all types of fruit trees as suited to the diverse locations.

My interest in this initiative has been hugely been propped up by interest and love for the environment and need for afforestation in my country.Initially my county-wide nursery seedlings project will focus on two to three counties where every success in a county will open a nursery in the next county.This whole drive will be trusted in the hands of the locals; mostly the jobless youth who'll own and take the project to the next level. Initially, the workers could do with a stipend for sustenance,but going forward the program should offer better terms for it's staffs.

Forests are pivotal in providing basic human needs and habitat for wildlife, biodiversity and soil conservation hence the challenge of hunger will be eradicated and there will be an increased number of tourists hence the economy of the country will stir up.secondly,there will be enough rainfall since forests are among the most effective sinks of green house gases that trigger climate change.Thirldy, joblessness and idleness cases will decrease,in the year two thousand and eighteen, local forests earned over seven billion to the economy employing over five hundred thousand individuals directly and another three hundred thousand indirectly.

My county-wide trees and fruits nursery initiative will provide the farmers in the area with quality and enough plants supply not only to sustain their farms but also for earning income.There will be establishment of local fruits vendors who will be selling the fruits at a fair price to the consumers hence creating self employment.Primary level based business can be quite tiresome performed by one person and the owner can opt to input more labour, creating employment to the non employed persons.Another major benefit is that there will be lesser cases of soil erosion since the trees roots will firmly hold the soil to the ground.Again, nurseries contribute to biodiversity by cultivating a variety of plant

Mainly my project is aimed at serving home gardeners who'd intend to decorate their compound and cultivate their orchards and I based my answer in regarding my current locality since the word is becoming modernized day in day out and home decor has become one of the fast growing business one can start.And since I'd also one day want to pursue a degree in environmental law I have also set my eyes in education and research institutions like the universities involved in horticultural and agricultural studies.

There's something called bottom up initiative in my country and in this case I won't use it politically,, empowering the youths the senior youth is one of the most challenging jobs we currently have in my country and by nursery project as small as it sounds,plays a major role in establishing the economy of everyone regardless of their state in the society.Eradicating poverty in all it's forms has been a major challenge to the Eastern Africa communities and by raising such a project and it's awareness will highly contribute to the growth of the economy hence there will be decreased cases of poverty cases.

By providing a variety of fruit trees,the nursery encourages the consumption of fresh and organic fruits rich in essentials vitamins and minerals which are crucial for good health maintenance and prevention of diseases. Trees improve air freshness by releasing oxygen and absorbing carbon dioxide. Also engaging in physical activities farming included can also help prevent obesity and it is also good for keeping fit. Interacting with other customers and clients or even social gatherings while learning can improve mental health since no man is an island.

For the farmers with the seminars and the workshops put aside for them for enlightenment they can be able to bring some technological inputs to make their work easier. Developing e-learning courses that covers various aspects of horticulture and agriculture can provide flexible learning options for students and enthusiasts. Providing resources and materials for teachers to incorporate agricultural education into their lesson plans.

Botany and zoology and topics regarding ecosystem are taught everywhere even in the universities regardless of the gender. Women again in this field own their own business becoming their own bosses and role models to other women.
