Executive Farmers business seeks to change the face of agriculture through taking over those tracts of land that are available for cultivation but are left idle or are underutilized. The experience that I had whilst growing up was in a farming back ground, raising hens, cows, and sheep because of the knowledge of how to rear them, cultivation of crops such as Maize, Cabbages, Potatoes and Tomatoes on a two acre land that was hired out. Having had it tough getting employed for regular jobs has led me to focus on farming and identify a critical gap in our locality and the wider region: the majority of farm owners thus do not have adequate knowledge and understanding of their land. Executive Farmers effectively fill this gap through provision of comprehensive farming and marketing solution. This is all done for our numerous clients who own land singly, in groups, companies, or individually through non-governmental organizations, and we attend to all their farming needs on their lands.

The main challenge aimed at Executive Farmers is that there is available land which is largely locked and this because farmers who own these patches do not have adequate knowledge or adequate skills in management of farming. The regional and local and the national farm owners may possess the fertile soils in right proportion but what they lack is the information or knowledge on how to cultivate or how to sell their produce. This makes the allocation of resources not optimal, brings about low yields of crops, thus bringing about lower earnings in these parcels of land owners. The knowledge within is met through a position that Executive Farmers provides farm management, and marketing solutions that help landowners to maximize the profit land can generate through agriculture apart from increasing crop production and overall revenues. Fully understanding this economic leverage increases the local community’s participation in the economy and decreases reliance on the traditional selling of labor. 3. Expert Farm Management: We are professional cultivators acquired appropriate training in farming as well as a degree in Business Management. Groups of Landowners: Farmers or farming societies who own large pieces of land that is they practice large scale farming in a bid to maximize on their yields and or profits. Companies: Large scale farming entities that include companies with huge farming lands and are in desire of professional farm management. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs): The recipients of this service are NGOs groups involved in agricultural development projects that require professional management services to support their programs’ effectiveness and durability.

The business has a team of skilled professionals with diverse expertise in agriculture and business management: Founder (myself): This gives me strong hands-on experience on cultivation of various crops and rearing of livestock besides a business management education. It is for this reason that, following my graduation in 2019, I have been able to successfully operate a miniature farm which translates knowledge acquired in agriculture into business. Person 2 Crop Expert: This person will focus on the use of proper varieties and methods of planting several crops. These are useful in matters concerning selection of crops that are suitable to be grown in certain soils and in certain weather conditions so as to produce maximum yields and quality crops. Person 3: Agronomist: Will give farmers advice on which type of soil they have and what needs to be done to improve the soil for farming. Together, this team will provide total farm solutions and marketing for the clients.

It also sustains employment and works against poverty in the rural areas, all which are the responsibilities of Executive Farmers. I am very passionate about agriculture/agribusiness/farming, bringing a positive change to the society, as well as helping others. In line with this, since i live in a rural residence and engaging in agricultural activities, i have been promoting female entrepreneurs by engaging my wife, my sister and their friends in my farming and agribusiness activities such as farming and selling the produce, encourage networking opportunities, advocating for equal access to resources, encouraging them through success stories, and collaborating with others and authorities. I envision these actions helping empower and support female agrientrepreneurs, contributing to their success and the economic development of the rural area.
