Water powered water pump is a project aimed at providing to customers a water pump which uses no fuel, solar, electricity or moving water. You just deep it in water and it starts pumping. It can be used for pumping water from wells, irrigation etc.

Two tanks of desired capacity (20L or more) are connected in such a way that they form a piston and cylinder with a hydraulic rubber seal connecting the joint to prevent leakage. The piston tank is filled with water to almost full and closed. The cylinder tank has an opening on its side which is opened and closed by the movement of the piston tank. When submerged in water, water enters the cylinder tank via the opening and floats the piston tank which is inside the cylinder tank. The piston tank then strikes a closing lever as it floats upwards which closes the opening of the cylinder tank. Outside pressure of surrounding water is now sealed off. The water in the piston tank then exerts pressure on the water in the cylinder tank which moves out through an outlet pipe. The piston tank then strikes an opening lever as it moves down which opens the opening of the cylinder tank and the process repeats. The cylinder tank is anchored in water by desirable means.

Pumping water has become increasingly important both for domestic and commercial use. The means of pumping the water(the water pumps) are expensive and out of reach of most people. I am providing a pump which will be free of operational costs such as fuel and electricity for domestic and commercial pumping and for irrigation purposes. The pump does not use fuel, solar, electricity or moving water and operates 24 hrs a day. This will help farmers irrigate their farms any time they want without any extra cost. The pump can also be used on a larger scale to pump water for the purpose of generating electricity as it does not need moving water. It can be placed on still waters and be used to generate electricity by raising water to height or connecting turbines to be turned by the force of water coming out of the cylinder tank as the piston tank exerts pressure on it.

Advantages of using the water powered water pump. 1. The pump does not use fuel, solar, electricity or moving water to pump. You just deep it in water and it starts pumping. 2. It is cheap: once the customer buys the pump, it does not require any operational costs to run. The customer just submerges it in water and anchors it and it starts pumping. The trigger is the tap. When the tap is opened, it starts pumping. When it is closed, it stops pumping. 3. The pump is environmentally friendly as it does not emit any green house gases. The pump can be used on a larger scale to generate clean renewable electricity by using the pumped water to turn turbines to generate electricity. 4. The pump is very cheap to buy hence affordable to all people including the poor.

The pump project is aimed at serving all people who need to pump water from one point to another for domestic or commercial purposes and for people who want to generate electricity on a larger scale (using a large pump). Farmers all over the world, domestic households, those who want to pump water from wells, corporations etc are all beneficiaries of these pump project. It is a pump like no other and for all people including the poor and the most vulnerable. Industries and corporations can use this pump for commercial irrigation and pumping of water and for generating electricity for own use or for sale to the public.

05.08 Justification de mon projet
My water powered Water pump project is unique in that no other pump in the market is able to pump water by just submerging it in water without using fuel, solar, electricity or moving water. This pump employs a unique technique of using water pressure differences by means of an opening on one of the two tanks(cylinder tank) such that when the opening is opened, pressure from the surrounding water causes a buoyant force to float the piston tank as water flows in. When the opening is closed, the outside pressure is sealed off and the piston tank exerts pressure on the water in the cylinder tank thereby pumping it out through an outlet pipe. The process is automatic and the pump does not need moving water like the hydram to operate.
05.09 Qui sont vos principaux potentiels concurrents et qu'est-ce qui vous différencie d'eux ?
My main potential competitors are the manufacturers of pumps which use fuel, solar, electricity or moving water to pump. Fuel and electricity are expensive and most people can not afford the cost of running pumps which use them. Solar powered pumps are not reliable as the sun does not always shine( shines for a maximum of 6 hours a day and not continuous most of the time) and are expensive to buy and maintain. The hydram pump which uses moving water is not efficient and cannot work in areas where there's no moving water. My water powered water pump project outshines all this as it is reliable efficient and works 24 hours a day without using fuel, solar, electricity or moving water and is also very cheap to buy as it uses locally available and cheap materials.
