With change of climate adversely affecting Agriculture, Agriculture Economy as a company is spearheading adoptation of climate smart Agriculture that involves drip irrigation, vertical farming and propergating of grated fruits seedling.

Our project mobilizes, promotes and helps implementating Morden agricultural activities that are friendly to the environment and that will help produce safer and more food that will sustain the growing population without harming forests. We supply and install drip irrigation to the small holder famer for water management that helps overcome challenges of drought We supply and ,design and install vertical farming equipment that helps in increasing surface area for farming in asmall farm. We supply seedlings for grafted fruit and trees to help increase tree population.

01.02 Quel est le problème principal que vous essayez de résoudre ?

Agriculture being the backbone of Kenyan Economy, climate changes especially drought and floods is continuing affect it negatively. Small holder famers still depend on rain water for their Activities. We found a need to spearhead the system of harvesting and storing water during rainy season and use it later for irrigation when rain disappears through drip irrigation. Agriculture also being the main cause of cutting down trees to create space for farming, we found a need spearheading the use of vertical farming that increases surface area for farming in a small piece of land. As many trees have cut to give space for Agriculture, we found a need of replacing this population of tress by propagating grafted fruit trees that help get fruits as food and at the same time help in increasing population of trees in our environment.

Using drip irrigation, smallholder famers will not depend on rain water for farming and seasonal farming will be a past thing because they can farm on any season. With increased population, and scarce land for farming as a resource, there's need to increase production of food to sustain this population. For this case, vertical farming will help increase surface area for farming in a small land and hence help increase food production. Propagation of grafted seedlings, help in increasing production of fruits and at the same time increases tree population of trees that is good for our environment.

80% of Rural population of where I come from in Western regions of Kenya depend on Farming as the main economic activity. The largest population are smallholder famers. This are our target customers. They are the people who depend on rain water far farming and are the people who real need advanced techniques in farming. And that is our deal with them.

Kenistus Nyongesa the owner is a a graduate in Information technology. Being raised in Agricultural family, I developed passion in Agriculture after finding a job in field of my study became hard. Right now I'm full time in Agriculture.

Many of men in the Rural area have migrated to urban areas to seek for employment leaving behind women with challenges in farming. Helping women at the Rural achieve in Agriculture also gives them employment.

Smart Agriculture will help in reducing carbon emissions because we will not encourage use of inorganic material on our campaign. We are implementing innovations that is being done somewhere else. For example drip irrigation and vertical farming is already existing. We only help in mobilizing and make it accessible for the rural population. Drip irrigation and vertical farming are technology in agriculture that help in water management and increase surface area for farming to help overcome drought challenges and surface area to produce enough for increased population.

05.09 Qui sont vos principaux potentiels concurrents et qu'est-ce qui vous différencie d'eux ?

Amiran and Elgon Kenya are some of my competitors. They mostly deal with large-scale counterparts. Our project is a centralised activity with aim of developing that community to a city of smart Agriculture. We help in mobilizing, implementing and make it easier to access by the members of the community.
