We are seeking to make customized stalls for business people in the informal employment who can cannot afford normal market rates with regards to rent.

We recycle plastic waste and add other chemicals to make boards and panels that we use to make the stalls.The stalls made are out to solve the frequent fire out breaks in markets like Gikomba as the stalls are fire proof,the business persons are able to enjoy customized trading space for their respective businesses.This will do away over reliance on shipping containers which are bulky and hard to customize towards a given business need.The stalls are also solar powered so that the vendors are able to support the clean energy consumption initiative.As we reduce the plastic waste in the environment,the same is utilized as raw materials to make stalls that will boost business performance as the whole project has many streams for income generation.

Data from the World Bank projects 2400 tonnes to be the amount of waste produced in Nairobi daily.240 tonnes are plastic waste which only 24 tonnes gets recycled as the remaining amount finds their way into the environment.We seek to reduce this gap by increasing the recycling scale of the plastic waste as we provide business solutions to local business persons who will benefit by having their business enjoy increased customer satisfaction.The stalls are customized,using solar power hence contributing to renewable energy consumption across the world .We encourage the community to supply with the waste and in return provide stalls that will be affordable and of great value to our venture.

The project aims to serve communities in the informal settlement who live in abject poverty and lack business infrastructure that can make them attract a considerable market share.The project also has a geolocation system that integrates the motorcycle riders to make deliveries to customers.This links the customers to the vendors while ensuring the process is without much stress on either side as the client has a choice to choose a rider known to them from the system.

The people in the formal have fresh and quality merchandise which the middle and upper classes wants to buy but fail to do so because the tin walled stalls they use lack aesthetic value and are in poorly organized locations.With our project the organization of the whole project and the geolocation system will link the vendors to customers who upon buying the merchandise will get them delivered to them through boda boda who are majorly from the informal settlement.The bodaboda industry was picked because it deals with all the classes in the economy.

The product we intend to create is a new technology which has not been witnessed in the region.At the moment shipping containers are being modified to make stalls for business persons .The market not being aware of the same finds it new though from our pitching the market response is promising to accept the whole concept once implemented.
