This project is aiming at starting a software engineering academy where students will enroll for the various engineering courses for training. This will enable them gain the various skills required in line with vision 2030,which is technology driven.

Having graduated with bachelor's degree in information science, I had have the desire to create an opportunity for other people through my capacity building and team building to create an effective community. This academy will be offering training to individuals who due to lack of fees or financial constraints did not get a chance to pursue careers, after training, they will be absorbed and being certified from bodies like Cisco, from this they will have an opportunity to work elsewhere on contract, permanent, or also develop their own company that can employ other people as well. Individuals will be taught courses like programming, networking, cyber security, data management and security, graphic designs photography and videography among many others depending on the students ability and attitude. Through this a society will be technology driven and this will also help reduce chances of youths engaging in other practice like murder, robbery if they lack something to keep them busy.

Through this project am trying to solve a knowledge gap that exists among the youths with regards to being a technology driven economy. Being knowledgeable makes one to acquire skills that can sustain them and navigate through the economy state. This therefore will create opportunity for other young generation being creative to develop self employment opportunities than depending on government jobs for employment. Once an individual can be creative enough to develop a business idea and they have the required skills, then they are well and good to start the dream careers without waiting for employment thus to through this project am trying to solve unemployment rates, and reducing other malpractice that can affect the society which are associated to unemployment. Once an individual finds somewhere he is kept busy they will not have time to think about robbery inorder to sustain them or meet their daily needs.

Easy access to skills learning. This will enable every individual to find it easy to get access to this services and learn the tech skills needed in this century. Employment opportunities. Once an individual has the required skills they can startup their own ventures for self employment to earn an income. Reduced crime rates. Once an individual finds something that can keep them busy then having that time to think about other crime thoughts inorder to earn an income will not be there but rather how to put more effort on their existing ventures and earn more.

The target beneficiary of this project are the youths in general. To be most specific then I would say those who never got an opportunity to further careers because of financial constraints by providing hope to them that nothing has been lost by providing them with other better options that can sustain them in a stiff economy where they live in in the future.

CPA Ibrahim Opondo is a Family relative, who is an accountant by profession, he is a certified public accountant employed by equity bank. Once I shared this idea with him he had a positive response towards and would be willing to offer financial support and financial guidance. He has an experience of 5 years in dealing with financial matters. Dr. Lameck Ronnoh who is a former lecturer during my degree study is a passionate individual about software engineering and an experienced developer in websites, app development, as well as a white dart ethical hacker and a cyber security analyst. Dr. Anne mugalavai is an experienced individual in cyber security and networking thus has the capacity to partner with me in developing a society that is career wise.

This startup will equip learners with skills that will enable them get a living on their own whether employed or not and this will change the societies view on the youths. Through this project learners will have the ability to depend on their own skills to live other than depending on the government for jobs under which if they can't find those jobs then they will turn to beggars, robbers, murders.

This is a project that involves use of the brain and not much labor , hence the well being of an individual is maintained and enhanced as none will be over exploited or overcharged that can strain their minds thus having good health at the end of the day.

Teaching learners effective skills to live with in their daily lives. The academy will also partner with organisation like Cisco for curriculum development and certification that at the end of the day , the papers can help one acquire job elsewhere without hesitation that they must just be retained within the organisation.

Everyone will be given an opportunity to utilize this resources to explore their careers. Mostly if possible then it's going to encourage the young girls who dropped out of school because of teenage pregnancies or parents died along the way and hence were left vulnerable to other factors that made them drop out of school.

There are several organisation existing that offers such courses. Our uniqueness will come in when we offer employment opportunities and give everyone a chance to learn. It will be based on inclusivity and as way of giving back to the society and non profit oriented but goal oriented by focusing on ensuring that everyone is given an opportunity to learn new skills for their sustainability in the coming days at affordable rates like only pay for certification.

The main competitors in this startup are the colleges who offer similar courses to the ones we plan to offer. To curb this and stand out from this, we will motivate them with practical skills that are lifelong learning which is technology driven, as opposed to theoretical work done in colleges and universities.
