BURSARY BABY provides a solution to students to get funding at a quicker and more efficient rate. It also provides the most up-to-date funding options for students from bursaries, loans and scholarship.

Bursary Baby is a newly founded application that aims to provide a solution to students to attain funding for their education through bursaries, scholarships and bank loans. The app is a direct link between the student and the funder instead of them having to go through many websites and channels to get to what they're looking for. This application as helps the student keep all their necessary documentation in one place so they can have all the documents they need to apply, we also use this information to help best cater to the student's needs by helping them write their motivational letter with the information from the documentation submitted on the app. This app is a quick and effective way for them to apply and receive funding and works with very little mobile data just in case the student comes from a background that is not afforded the opportunity to have unlimited data. This seeks to help all students that come from disadvantaged backgroundsto further their education and lives.

Most students have to tirelessly surf through countess of websites only to be frustrated and disheartened by the lack of the updated bursary offers and lack of relevant information or the ads on the website. Bursary Baby helps alleviate the issues caused by the lack of useful and updated applications or websites for students looking for financial aid. This app serves as a direct link from the scholarship, bursary funder or loaner to the student. It offers a helpful platform where students and people looking for funding can also help one another with advice on how to get the best out of their college/ university experience through tutoring and study guides for different institutions in South Africa. This solves a number of problems students in South Africa are facing such as lack of field-based funding, not enough information on the field they're studying and a general lack of support on their university or college experience.

The major benefit of using our app is that it is user friendly. The user does not have to constantly switch websites looking for a suitable bursary for them that are still open and available for them, they can just find funding at a click of a button. 2. This app helps them keep track of their bursary applications, helps them write motivational letters and reach out to people that have received funding from that company before to help better their chances of receiving the funding themselves. 3. It offers internships and study-guides and material within the same app that help the student to be more experienced and trained in their desired field. This also better prepares them with the study material for whichever exams they'd be writing within their faculty.

The primary market for BursaryBaby is all students and education recipients who are looking to further their education in any tertiary institution whether private or public in South Africa and internationally. Our secondary target market is for businesses and funding institutions that wish to partner with the app to provide funding or internships to the students who are seeking. Our market in detail: 1. Students in high school looking for funding for their first year of varsity/college 2. Second year and above students who are looking for funding for the duration of their degree. 3. Postgraduate students who wish to pursue their education further by getting a masters or more. 4. Students who are looking towards applying for internships for the semester breaks (part-time or full-time) within their field.

Partner 1 - I am a tertiary student enthralled by the dynamic world of economics. Beyond the classroom, my professional journey has been marked by exciting milestones. As a seasoned sales representative, I honed my communication skills and learned the art of building lasting relationships with clients. My experience as a stock taker in a fast-paced distribution center taught me the value of efficiency, attention to detail, and the importance of teamwork. Partner 2 - I am a student currently pursuing a Diploma in Software Development. Along my academic journey I have gained technical skills and pro efficiency in languages such as Java and C#. My journey has afforded me the ability to learn more about the functionality and data storage across different types of applications. Partner 3 -I bring a robust set of skills in Information Technology and Software Engineering to the team, with a strong foundation in programming languages, software development, and system architecture.

The lack of funding and sponsorship for students to be able to further their education has left a lot of students unable to pursue a better future for themselves and their families. Therefore, receiving funding through our app will help them further their education and create better lives for themselves. Many students deal with a lot of pressure especially when they're financially burdened due to not reading the T's and C's of the loans they would be taking to go to school. This app helps negate the misinformation by openly and clearly communicating what kind of bursary, scholarship or loan they would be receiving and if they'd have to pay it back or not. This improves well-being because, their parents do not have to worry about their children not being able to go to school.

By having an app that puts all government and private company funded bursaries scholarships and loans in the same place and makes it easier and simpler for people to understand this ensures that whoever gets the funding will have an opportunity to further education with a bursary that is catered for their desired career. Receiving this kind of funding will help them go into the school of their choice depending on whether funding is available for that faculty or not. This app doesn't just offer funding for students but also offers internships and learnerships for students who would like to gain work experience in their desired career field. Receiving this kind of opportunity without the advantage of nepotism or favoritism, will help most people gain knowledge and tangible experience to make either their academic life or future work life easier for themselves. This also makes them more hirable and desirable to companies as their will have the necessary skills and requirements that the company is looking for in an employee. Therefore, they will be able to get a proper paying job and help grow the country economically with the work that they do. So, this brings more opportunities for offers that usually would've been posted in-house/internally and gives it to someone new who could make and bring a difference to the table.

BursaryBaby aims to ending financial inequalities by ensuring that every student has a fair chance at receiving the funding they applied for. As we're all aware, many students are unable to further their education because of the lack of financial provision in their households, so we plan on alleviating that by running them through a system which chooses the best candidate/recipient for funding based off their marks and the credibility of the documents submitted. The easy accessibility of the app also helps people who don't have WIFI in their homes to still be able to seamlessly work on their bursary application without worrying about losing documentation due to lack of internet connection.

This innovation is an extension of something that already exists due to a wide number of websites that offer funding for students. However, this is a new and exciting way to bring the funding to the students at just a tap of a button on an app. In the economy that we live in most people want convenience, so this makes the applying experience a lot easier and efficient with reminders and benchmarks of the application process. The app also ensures that all bursaries, scholarships and funding that is on the app is the most updated and most recent as many websites would still keep funding options from 5 years ago under a category which disheartens and is a very frustrating process for many applicants. Therefore, this app would be creating a new spin on an old method that has not been working as effectively as it used to before.

South Africa has a vast number of bursary websites that students can go to for funding however, Bursary Baby stands out from the competition because, this is an app that does not contain any ads and is user-friendly to the target audience. Its database where users can store their useful documents and software platform offer a wide range of options and variety that the audience can choose from by offering tutors, scholarships, bursaries, internship programs and ensuring that our clients receive high-quality mobile experience when applying for a bursary that is within their field and lets them know of their expected timeline for the deadline. This is an app that also assists the students with writing motivational letters for their applications as we are aware that most students struggle with drafting those to suit and cater the application requirements. It would make the application process for them less stressful as they're able to use the template example given to them to guide them.
