A deep drilling project that aims to put together a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful mining and distribution of Shale Gas in Africa and beyond. Whilst this Business Plan relates solely to the one site in the Karoo in the west coast of South Africa. The southern main Karoo basin of South Africa is considered prospective for shale gas exploration. The Main Karoo basin is considered an active petroleum system based on oil and gas shows documented within well reports and published literature. In 1968, exploration well CR1/68 in the southern main Karoo Basin yielded a gas flow rate of 1.83 mmscf/day for 23 hours from the fractured Fort Brown shale. The Fort Brown was thought to be self-sourcing (i.e. a gas shale), but may also have been charged by the underlying Whitehill Formation. South Africa has an estimated 485 trillion ft3 (13 733.7 billion m3) and 390 trillion ft3 (11 043.6 billion m3) of technically recoverable natural gas from shale reservoirs.

Compared to coal, shale gas combustion generally produces lower carbon dioxide emissions and fewer air pollutants such as sulphur dioxide and particulates. This can contribute to improving air quality and reducing greenhouse gas emissions when used as a substitute for coal in electricity generation. Therefore we are solving the electricity problem in South Africa and Africa as a whole. This affordability can also help reduce energy poverty and improve access to reliable energy sources.

The vast deposits of shale gas provide a substantial and reliable source of natural gas for energy production.Energy Security: The development of shale gas reduces dependence on imported natural gas, enhancing energy security for countries that previously relied heavily on foreign energy sources. This can stabilize energy prices and reduce vulnerability to geopolitical tensions affecting energy supply. Economic Stimulus: The extraction and production of shale gas create jobs and stimulate economic growth in regions where shale formations are located. This includes direct employment in drilling and extraction activities, as well as indirect economic benefits to related industries such as manufacturing and services. Flexibility and Versatility: Shale gas can be also be used heating, industrial processes, and as a feedstock for chemical manufacturing.

LUNGA MASHABA, a qualification in Human Resource Management from University of Johannesburg with a combination of extensive experience in real estate, skills in finance administration and four years experience in the construction sector. He is able to provide unmitigated specialised services to clients with service offering including turnaround strategies, business process improvement, human resource strategies and building long-term cooperative relationships; in accordance with client’s needs. ANTONETTE MOFOKENG, a Wits BA Graduate with notable achievements and five years experience in construction including managing confidential company documents and administrative correspondence as well as preparing biweekly reports for clients and subcontractors. Maintaining sensitive corporate and financial resources. I have also attended workshops to enhance my knowledge, as well as short courses online.
