Golden Hair Care brand is a hair and beard growth products line inspired by my experience with hair breakage, dandruff and itchy scalp. The main objective of the business is to help individuals boost their confidence and tackle hair & beard health issues

01.01 Décrivez votre startup en détail

My startup was inspired by my experience with poor hair growth, hair breakage, dandruff and itchy scalp. After joining an online class to learn about hair growth and the production of hair products, I started manufacturing my own hair care products. I then decided to use my knowledge in the manufacturing of hair care products to start a business to help individuals who are also facing hair health issues to help restore their confidence when they grow beautiful and healthy hair. I gave out a few samples of hair growth oils and pomades to selected individuals to test the authenticity of my products. In August 2022, I launched my hair oil business, namely GOLDEN HAIR OIL In January 2024, I added a hair growth pomade to the brand because the oil had proved it effectiveness in improving hair and beard growth. Fast forward to April 2024, I decided to finally fulfill my dream of having a complete hair growth and treatment brand. I started producing black soap shampoo and conditioners.

01.02 Quel est le problème principal que vous essayez de résoudre ?

The main objective of my startup is to provide a more healthy and natural option when it comes to maintaining a healthy hair and beard and also addressing hair problems such as dandruff, poor hair growth, hair loss, breakage and itchy scalp. This is because, most of the haircare products on the market that are produced with harmful chemicals like parabens have long term effects on consumers. An example is breast cancer since majority of the people who invest in haircare products are females.

When a consumer uses my products they get safe and healthy hair and beard growth products. This is because a majority of the ingredients in the products are naturally derived and the few chemical components are generally safe for consumers. Their hair is also void of dandruff and itchiness. The consumer grows a beautiful hair and beard that doesn't break or fall off. My clients also enjoy free hair consultations, regular check ups, and free hair product samples.

My target audience is every individual who grows their hair and keeps their beard irrespective of gender. Then in this category, I look out for people who are interested in products that will grow their hair and beard, maintain it's health and shine, and also clear their dandruffs and curb their hair breakages.

06.08 Justification

There are a whole lot of other haircare products on the market. However, my startup is unique because of the use of a greater use of natural ingredients and also producing products that are suitable for all genders and all hair types.

I have a lot of competitors who also use natural ingredients. My brand stands out by using a greater proportion of natural ingredients and safe chemicals. My brand does not create a limitation on gender or hair needs.
