The "EduPlay" Initiative is a project that seeks to help parents manage the screentime of their kids. The EduPlay Box contains varieties of locally inspired toys that helps to keep a child engaged, socially active, screen-free and playful while learning.

01.01 Décrivez votre startup en détail

As an Educator, this idea was birthed as a result of my interaction with parents. Most of the parents who visited my Literacy complained of how their kids are obsessed with screentime and how that obsession was affecting the academic performance of their kids and that they have tried all their means to manage the screen-time of their kids but to no avail. This product was am Initiative to address that challenge.

Most of the complaints I receive from parents at my Literacy center is that their kids are glued to their screentime and that they do play games on the phones most of the times and that seems to affect their academic work. As an Educator, I am of a firm belief that a child learns best through play. With this, I developed this project not just to completely replace kids screentime but to offer an opportunity for kids to still play and learne while off-screen. With EduPlay, it gives parents the opportunity to manage the screentime of their kids. The EduPlay contains several varieties of toys that keeps a child engaged, socially active, screen-free and most important playful while still learning. The toys are carefully curated to develop some learning faculties I'm kids: Spatial Reasoning, Critical Thinking, Motor Skills, Analytical Skills, Cognitive Skills and others.

Beyond helping reduce the screentime of kids, The toys are carefully curated to develop some learning faculties I'm kids: Spatial Reasoning, Critical Thinking, Motor Skills, Analytical Skills, Cognitive Skills and others.

EduPlay builds the learning faculties of a child irrespective of their socio-economic background. Children with special needs also have specially curated contents as well to help them in their learning processes while they play.
