Green Vanguard is an initiative that drives sustainable development in rural Ghana through a collaborative approach. We bring together youth, smallholder farmers, and rural schools to address pressing environmental and socio-economic challenges. Our core activities include promoting sustainable agricultural practices and providing environmental education. Through the Farm2Feed program, we support schools to collaborate with smallholder farmers to cultivate backyard school farms. Produce from the school farms directly support school nutrition. Surplus is sold in the local market, the funds are used partly as income for the farmers, and the rest is invested into the program.
