Describe your project or startup in a few words

We are a non profit organisation that works with youth but our main focus is high schoolers. We would like to run a mentorship programme with the goal of improving behaviour change in high school students.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

We would like to offer support programs to the youth in our community in high schoos, providing mentorship programme's through mentoring sessions,workshops and community campaigns,collaborating with other professional services and the community to help minimise the social challenges that are faced by high school children.we want to promote mental wellbeing by introducing session that will be in a form of experiencial learning. Knowing that children from disadvantaged backgrounds end up not finishing school because of challenges they face in communities. Kn

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

We are trying to solve problems related to high school drop outs,teenage pregnancy, peer pressure, substance abuse and violence in youth. We know we might have a lot of issues arisingin our areas and we would like to do something about to promote posive change.

These services will help the community to find ways to sustain positive livelihoods in our community. Also promoting the change that is needed for a better future.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The community at large will be benefiting through experiencial learning as we will be doing colaborations but our main focus will be high schools children.

1 Founder. Bachelor Degree in Social worker,I have experience in the public health sector.were I have worked a case facilitator, have experience in group facilitation.
