Describe your project or startup in a few words

Grace Filled Beginnings, it's an agriculture business but currently sell eggs with the aim of expanding the business into a successful agriculture business,that will open jobs,skills and fight against poverty in the community and the next generation.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

We've start off by buying and selling eggs from the local farm, which is a bit challenging because of the supplier not being reliable. Though there's a lots of challenges but we have made lots of customers from the begging of the project until now, lots of been so interest in supporting this project and they hoping that it will bring change to the community. Expanding from buying to the local to working on starting producing to our farm has been challenging but has taught major lessons that we hope we will able to pass on to the next generation that have the same passion for agriculture. Due to the high rate of unemployment and the demand for agriculture projects in our country, we saw the opportunity and grabbed it with hands and use it as a chance to bring change to the lives of people that are unemployed, educated or uneducated. We still don't have enough equipments but that doesn't discourage us from keep on keeping on.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Chicken are known for their high rate of reproduction,rapid growth,and low maintenance requirements. This makes my business attractive and lucrative option,the problem IAM trying to solve is that our country economy contributing to jobs creation and food security,high costs, health issues and emissions are the biggest challenges to profitable and suitable poultry farming. This project is coming to solve the problem of the lack of industries dedicated to the production and marketing of eggs in the nation.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

Positive environmental impact,like raising my own chicken for eggs reduces my reliance on commercial eggs production,which often involves large-scale factory farming methods with significant environmental consequences. Raising chicken offers a multitude of benefits,one of which it is the invaluable by product they yield-their manure,which plays a significant role in fostering robust plant. Profit immediately,chicken are easy to set up and operate,the initial investment is low and the return on investment is fast

My target market includes wide range of consumers, such as individuals, families, restaurants, food processors, retailers and other local eggs suppliers.

The project is still a small business,that is still working on making saving money to expand the business, and have not yet hired any employees. I am still the only employee and also a owner.

This project is not going to benefit the owner, the whole idea around this idea is to fight poverty and bring hope to almost everyone in the neighborhood. Creating employment for the rural people and generating an income that could assist with improvement of their food and nutrition,and the payment of their children school fees etc..

This will also prevents them from raising their income and improving their standard of living. The food and farming Industries are vital in eliminating hunger and poverty.

Our priority is safety, neatness and health in environment for our products, and for everyone customers and future employees. We believe that maintaining good chicken health is therefore critical for profitable production, and for our bodies. Although we wish to gape/separation between educated and uneducated but we still believe in the quality education, that we believe in learning so that we will be able to share the information with other people regardless of the academic level. Yes, the qualification embodies the international requirements for handling and care of poultry which will ensure that right quality poultry products are produced,which is why I still wish to learn more about poultry farming so that I will able to teach more people about poultry farming.

As I have mentioned in some of the pints above,that maintaining a healthy,neat environment and clean water is good for the chicken and for the health of the employees. So I strongly believe in the combination of good hygiene, sanitation and disinfection,is highly efficient in removing disease -causing agents from poultry production systems, birds/chicken need access to clean water and safe environment to produce quality chicken and meat.

To produce as much meat, and as many eggs as possible, as quickly as possible, using the least costly inputs (food) required in as little space as possible. All the wastes created is the goal, even manure is generated through chicken waste, so it is gathered and sold, or used as fertiliser in the backyard garden.

Although there's a lot of competition when it comes to poultry farming,but we believe that people,love change and believe in quality and affordable products and thay makes us different from the rest.

My main potential competitors. -Local eggs suppliers -local shops What makes me stand out is that we both were buying from the local farm,I stopped buying from there have started production day to day eggs, I bring the daily fresh quality eggs and fresh meat and is not kept for long period time.
