Candy Nursery Project aims to provide quality world class sweets to our customers. And the products are made from high quality ingredients.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

The problem I am solving is, inconveniences, health precautions and travelling costs for customers. At Candy Nursery, hygiene is the main ingredient in the candy safety recipe of the company. When customers place order through a salesperson or by phone. orders transmitted electronically to a central dispatch location. Dispatchers view orders for a particular Distribution Center and determine best method for delivery. The business model is to have partnership with Candy and Sweets suppliers, Local confectionary manufactures and Delivery campaniles. The business market consist of existing clients and potential clients. This process makes it easier to target specific groups of customers. And the customers are Local residents, families, tourists and visitors, events and party planners. The businesses revenue streams are made from sales of candies, custom candy gifts baskets, merchandise sales which are candy-themed items (t-shirts, hats and Caps).

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem I am trying to solve is Unemployment. I want to decrease the unemployment rate because young people who take longer to find decent employment are likely to accumulate fewer skills than those who begin on the job learning at an earlier age. I have paid attention to measures which lead to the reduction of unemployment and they include the changes in industrial techniques, policies regarding seasonal employment and change in the education system. To solve the unemployment problem, a production technique focusing on the needs and means of the country should be adopted. There is a need to change the present education system. It should emphasize vocational education rather than emphasizing static education.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

There are various benefits from consuming sweets we produce. Our sweets helps in promoting healthier eating, as it improves appetite. The benefits of consuming our produced sweets is that they improve brain functions, such as critical thinking without having to struggle to find the answer to the question being asked. The significant advantage of consuming our product is that, they are a great way to help decrease the risk of heart problems to our consumer. For example. from our research, it shows that people who eat sweets regular have a 39% less chance of suffering from a heart attack. People who consume a candy treat produced by us have a 50% less chance of dying from a stroke because the products we use are organic and healthy consumer approved.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The target market for the business is wide. Women, children, local residents, families and party planners were our ideal targets. during the operation of the business, I observed customers who consumed our products, and realized that male people are also interested in consuming sweets not as I thought so Our target market are tourists. People who are travelling and visiting the country. we serve them quality and ever lasting taste of sweets in their trips. Parties and Events Planners are on our target, especially people who are planning parties for children. We are convenient to them because they do not have to purchase sweets in bulk and package them into party packs. We sell sweets to party planners and event planners which are already packaged into party packs and we call them (Candy Cup Treat).

My startup contribute to the No Poverty slogan by helping to provide skills to young people by offering a part time job of cleaning and a sum of money as an income because I want to decrease the unemployment rate. I believe that young people who take longer to find decent employment are likely to accumulate fewer skills than those who begin on the job learning at an earlier age. By providing a skill development to young people plays a significant role in their lives by helping them to stay positive and motivated to do good things because poverty can lead to Depression then death, so I keep other young people active to booth their mental health.

We encourage entrepreneurship. We believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful tool in fighting youth unemployment rate everywhere around the country.

Another key component of good health and well-being is resilient. You should be approachable, available and encourage team members to talk to you if they are having problems. The management style should suit the needs of each person. Being resilient is also being able to handle situations or problems without including emotions, because emotions can lead to Taking a permanent solution to a temporarily situation that can be resolved in calm manners. My startup emphasizes that communication is key, regardless of ones financial status of how perfect they are practically.

My startup does not compromise the cleanliness and sanitation of the work environment by ensuring that one's environment is kept clean at all times, such that it does not become a health hazard for its inhabitants. Sanitation and hygiene become especially important during an emergency, such as a natural disaster occurs, when finding clean, safe water could be difficult. so my startup involves a strong and effective water supply.

My startup contributes to affordable and clean energy by investing in Solar Power. Solar power is one of the cleanest forms of energy because it does not emit any greenhouse gases, which may be harmful to the well-being of any person. Clean energy and energy efficiency benefit human health in (physical and mental) and safety. Clean energy technologies produce almost no harmful emissions, known as greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide—that are linked to numerous health problems. Clean energy also affects environmental health and safety positively. One of the most effective ways to promote renewable energy is to create a supportive policy and regulatory environment that favors its development as my startup do. The right precautions of the use of safe and reliable energy is kept key by turning off Lights and Electronics when they are not in use, And by replacing traditional light bulbs with LEDs.

One of the important reason to sustain a decent work ethic and economic growth is to Invest in education and training, by enforcing learning programs which will instill entrepreneurship and an eager to sustain ones startup. And also invest in infrastructure or resources that are used to keep the startup effective and productive. And also help others understand how a lack of quality education affects everyone. My start-up is mainly a dependent from conserving natural resources such as water, plastic is also critical to making food production more sustainable. This can be achieved through practices such as drip irrigation, rainwater harvesting, and the use of agroforestry land use practices. Instead of acquiring single-use packaging, I encourage the use of re-usable and returnable packaging. For example, glass containers for drinks can be returned and re-used after use, thus avoiding unnecessary waste. Plastic jugs wraps are recycled to be deep cleaned an re-used, avoiding the waste of resources in packaging and less money is used in recyclable plastic and the money that could have been spent on packaging expenses is used in some of the affordable recourses I need to produce candies. Developing recyclable and renewable resource approaches requires socializing the circular economy concept through initial education processes and subsequent civil actions.

Broadway Sweets are my potential competitors because they produce the well known sweets, which of that people enjoy and love. And they have been in existence for longest time which favors them in experience in the Candy Production Industry. What makes unique from them is that the sweets I produce are spun sugar so when you toast them or Melt them they caramelizes and creates a harder sugar shell with many more flavor's plus the texture of the melted middle adds extra sweetness and wonderful texture. Compared to which of are produced by Broadway Sweets does not do or give that indulging soothing taste.
