I have thought of an app that will allow all truck drivers to see which roads they can drive on, what bridges they can and cannot go under due to the type of truck they drive.

With the Boksburg explosion that occurred, an idea that will help to keep truck divers safe and people around. This app will help navigate the driver to all roads and bridges they can drive on and under depending on the type of truck they drive. This will also help as a navigation system for all drivers. It is a way to keep everyone safe on the road.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Awareness and 0% casualties, fewer accidents. There is a bridge that runs a train on top in an area I live in and trucks are always getting stuck under, because they think they can fit through and the sign to indicate the maximum size allowed is obstructed. All trucks that have driven under have been slowly damaging the structure, creating a bigger problem that if the bridge falls, the train will not be operational, making it hard for people who used to commute on a daily. This sets of a chain reaction of sorts.

Everyone on the road is guaranteed safety as they commute to places and it makes it so much easier for truckers to commute daily without obstructions.

It targets the trucking industry mostly, this app can be used for light to heavy trucks such as Flatbed Trucks · Refrigerated Trucks · Straight Trucks · Tanker Trucks · Jumbo Trailer Trucks · Semi-Trailer Trucks · Dump Trucks · Box Trucks etc.

This idea may change many people who have been driving trucks for a very long time. I think this will give them a new way of looking into things and teach them new things.

The trucking industry is male-dominated and slowly women have been dominating and entering this industry I find it very admirable for any woman to operate such a machine. This app would be welcomed more by women because of the safety it brings.

It's a navigation system specifically for truck drivers. There are navigation systems for all types of drivers but this caters specifically to truckers

Google maps, Waze, are the apps I am aware of that may be my competitors. What makes me stand out is the fact that my app will only be used by truck drivers
