01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Horizen International RSA is a business consultancy and accounting firm is a business that helps township businesses and informal businesses to grow and develop. Majority of the informal businesses operate as sole proprietors and do not have the capacity to expand, according to our belief is that small businesses have the protentional to assist the economy and reduce the unemployment status/statistics. The number of township businesses and informal businesses surpass the statistics of the private and established companies. Our aim is to train and host facilitation programs and workshops to give the businesses the necessary information, the necessary skills and coaching sessions to ensure the businesses receive proper support for growth and development as the more they expand they are able to recruit people into their business to actually start working.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

As a business we are solving an economic issue of unemployment. The time spent dealing with different kind of businesses and entrepreneurs we are expanding their pipelines and reduce the unemployment statistics. We understand not everyone is meant to be in business but if we can take the current group that we have of business owners and entrepreneurs and give them the necessary resources to expand to pull in workers in the circle.

We are contributing to the 'no poverty' goal simply because we are firstly looking into the current businesses and developing them from a stage of "hand to mouth" kind of a cash flow into a large line of cash flow so that they can be able to recruit or employ other people with the same or similar experience or skills into the business to start working and additionally looking into groups that were unable to gain skills and experience and giving them workshops and skills development trainings so be recruited into one of the businesses that are expanding.
