Kwadwesi Crusaders is a steadily growing chess club in the heart of Kwadwesi.  All for the benefit of children and youth of the area - in the heroic sport of Chess. We practise at the Kwadwesi Library 3pm to 5pm.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Kwadwesi Crusaders is a steadily growing chess club in the heart of Kwadwesi.  All for the benefit of children and youth of the area - in the heroic sport of Chess. We have the permission to practise at the Kwadwesi Library, and have been meeting there every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon from 15:00 to 17:00 (3pm to 5pm). Our core values are good sportsmanship - fairplay, brain activity, well roundedness and friendship.  Our resources - being a new club and all - are quite limited.  (We are currently running on my own 5 personal chess sets). We are in incredible need of them, as we plan on hosting our first tournament to celebrate International Chess Day, this July on the 19th and 20th.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

We want children and youths out of the streets, aimlessly doing nothing. And inside their library, playing chess. We will also participate in natches with other assossiactions. As we ate also planning our first tournament this coming July.

Children and youths are empowered to make better choices everytime they exercise their brain into critical thinking paths with Chess.

Teenagers and young adults in and aroubd the Kwadwesi area.

They are highly achieved chess coaches that charge children an arm and a leg to teach badics to them. With us on the other hand, I have been giving my time without any renummeration.
