VeriHack introduces African youth to the world of VR game design, intertwining educational content with cultural storytelling. Through interactive workshops, participants learn to create immersive experiences that preserve and promote African heritage while developing essential technical skills.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
VeriHack seeks to tackle the skills gap in technology and innovation among African youth. Many communities lack access to modern educational opportunities in fields like VR development, hindering their ability to compete in a globalized job market. By teaching children to create VR games, we equip them with in-demand technical skills and inspire future leaders in technology from underserved communities.

University students aged 18-25 enhance critical thinking and technical skills through practical application in VR game development. Professionals in the tech industry who serve as educators facilitate knowledge transfer and community engagement, fostering mentorship and skill-sharing. Advertisers and sponsors gain opportunities to support educational initiatives and promote cultural awareness, accessing a diverse and engaged audience through sponsorship and advertising in VR games. Local communities and educational institutions benefit from innovative educational tools that improve learning outcomes and cultural understanding, potentially forming partnerships with tech firms and educational platforms to enhance access and quality of education

Through hands-on projects, collaborative learning, and real-world applications, we empower learners to become curious, adaptable, and forward-thinking individuals. (2). University of Namibia : The University of Namibia (UNAM) is the largest and leading National institution of higher education in the country. Their computing departments works with the project to help with research and feasibility studies (3). Edu-Game Namibia is a game development academy specifically designed to teach and train individuals in the field of game development. As a leader in game development in the country Edu-game offers support in coaching skills training for game development and VR equipment
