This project involves developing a smart irrigation control system that attaches to the central pivot irrigation electric panel, enabling remote control and real-time monitoring. It features a user-friendly app for Android and iOS, as well as a web interface accessible via a QR code for users without the app. The system supports advanced features such as scheduling, electricity and water consumption reports, and variable rate irrigation (VRI) to optimize water distribution based on soil and crop needs. Utilizing Wi-Fi for local connectivity, GSM for wide-area access, and LoRa for long-range, low-power communication, the system ensures reliable connectivity and data access. This enhances irrigation management efficiency and sustainability. The app also integrates advanced capabilities, including weather data integration, irrigation schedule recommendations, and satellite insights.

Here in Algeria and around the world, agriculture using central pivot irrigation systems faces significant challenges, including the difficulty of real-time monitoring and response, as well as issues related to soil and water consumption. Each part of the soil varies in its characteristics, from topography to soil behavior. In central pivot irrigation systems, water is distributed evenly across the entire field, leading to challenges such as non-uniform plant conditions, uneven growth, and excessive water consumption. Traditional irrigation methods often result in water wastage, high electricity consumption, and inadequate control over irrigation schedules, resulting in increased operational costs and suboptimal crop yields.
