Birthday Fest Naija Ltd is an indigenous Nigerian company that seeks to connect birthday mates using the tinder app geo algorithm model. Tinder , a dating app with its head quarter in United States of America , uses geographical algorithm to match lovers . The app generates billions of dollars through in app-purchases yearly . In our case, we want to implement this feature for birthday mates who reside nearby . We have been operating through WhatsApp since 26th of June 2022 till date . But we registered with Cooperate affairs commission on the 16th of August 2023. And have since been developing the idea . As the name of the company implies , we hope to use the birthday festival and an inbuilt entertainment mart as a marketing strategy strategy for the app and our eco friendly initiatives . The festival is a blend of entertainment(sports misic) by birth month,with a robust partnership with big multinationals brands who share the vision of a better and healthy social media space .

We have identified some negative impacts of social media including the social disconnect that has brought about significant division, racism and tribalism . we seek to use our app in solving this problem by integrating features that would help us be more patriotic and eco friendly. Our app will have an inbuilt reward system that will reward users based on their social and eco-friendly impacts . The economic downward spiral has immensely reduced birthday celebrations and this has left a negative impact on families. Overall it has reduced sales for lounges, event centers and the hospitality industry as a whole . With our app and the festival , we believe we can give our celebrants a more creative way to celebrate their birthdays without robbing the bank . Parents who cannot afford to celebrate their kids birthday will have the opportunity to cohost and lift the financial burden of hiring artist, bakers all alone . This will keep event creators and entertainers in business.

Our project seeks to amplify the dividend of social media and geo- algorithm for users all over the world . By linking birthday celebrants to their birth mates nearby and lounges who in turn partner with our company , we are sure we can boost businesses within tourism and hospitality industry. Birthday celebration is about celebration of life , in our era a lot of people go years without celebrating their lives or essence of existence because they are far from friends and family , with this people would no longer need to look far as they’d be sure of having birth mates who meet their specifications close by , this fosters trust and a sense of well-being , an overall antidote for depression With this invention , people can create wish list within the app and have random users or celebrants pay for them . There will be features that helps people go up the app visibility by the number of good initiatives they’ve embarked on and users can team up for more eco-friendly initiatives.

Our target beneficiaries cuts across people from all works of life . We are setting up birthday camps all over the world through our app by unifying the world to the realistic essence of our existence. In terms of target audience , our app and festival is for everyone as long as they were born to planet earth. We also understand that the younger generation might adapt easily to the app interphase aswell as the festival. . At the same time we want to ensure that the older generation are not left out . We want a unified social media space where the old can impact positively through our platform . We would love to see people of all ages create meaningful bonds that grow into real time friendship and having a people co-celebrating their birthday with users who live nearby would be an accomplishment for us . In terms of specifications , the app Ai tool will let celebrants get matched with the age gender and location preferences they want for their birthday, mostly nearby.

The second director of my company is a female , she’s Mrs. Maris Ojong . My wife . She owns 20% shares of the company. She’s got her masters in cardiovascular physiology. And we are actually birthday mates . Both of us were born on the 11th of March , and this gave birth to our innovation She plays a vital role in organizing these ideas which we run by our business development manager . Miss Ester Etuo. Overall , we are indirectly creating a support systems that’s cuts across every tribe culture and race . With the app , event creators , graphic designers vendors including bakers chefs and entertainers will be in business. The concept will boost the air bnb, brewery, hospitality and tourism , mobile communications, data acquisition and fashion industry. We believe that through our festival the tourism and hospitality sector will gain immensely as people from all over the world will be on the destination Africa/ Nigeria during our festivals . This project will drive a lot of investors into Africa and Nigeria as a whole , as we will be integrating the birth month tournament into our festival alongside the Face of Birthday fest naija / africa . We believe that the economy will be significantly boosted as this will attract a lot of investors from within and outside the country. Our young talents will easily have hope as we they’d be getting support for their career from mentors.

Currently , we have a concept where we go to the slumps to feed the homeless kids . Just recently we visited the lemna dumpsite , a dump yard in Calabar that houses over 500 homeless children ,both boys and girls . We want to use our platform to drive more of this initiative including advocating for them through random pop-ups on our application, as well as push the narrative during our festival . Birth month camps during the festival would pledge and redeem vows to support these kids out of the slumps aswell as have volunteers that would get them involved in tech , teach and incorporate them back into the society. We will also drive a narrative for celebrants to add visiting of the less privilege as part of their to-do-list . We want this and many other humanitarian driven initiatives to be the bedrock of our technology . We will have agro initiatives setup to motivate campers from different month to go into farming and production that will inturn eradicate hunger .

We want birth mates who live nearby to setup challenges on our app .. that would be visible to others who live around .. that way they can easily get inspired ,to link up and have workout routines, health campaigns such as mental health awareness public health amongst others.

Clean water and sanitation is one of our eco friendly concepts. Although we haven’t implemented largely yet. For the larger audience , when we get an expansion and commence the festival, we would include these initiatives and set them as standards for third party contractors such as lounges chefs amongst others that would be partnering with us . We hope to partner with reputable NGOs that have proven track records of giving back to the society . Our goal in this line will be to amplify the humanitarian mission . We will also have these campaigns advertised during our festivals to imbibe the culture of humanitarian services for all our campers. And recognize those who build initiatives to create good drinking water outlets for the less privileged .

We are innovating the way birthdays are celebrated and at the same time giving birthmates and opportunity to meet their birth relatives close to them. While this is totally unique , the geo algorithm concepts is carved out of the tinder app model that match makes people based on their behavioral and geographical preferences . We are innovating a product for the hospitality and tourism sector . And we believe in its uniqueness will take advantage of the social media experience in driving hospitality sanity and patriotism into our society . The integration of an entertainment service within would give sellers , vendors, music artist , lounges , hotels and tourism destinations an opportunity to market to celebrants . The sports concept - the concept of a premier league or an Olympic championship would be the closest to our idea , but in our case we are standing out because it’ll sports based on birthmonth one belongs to .
