Harleyfield NG plans to take 'neighborhood football' to another level by providing natural soccer pitch within different localities to spur exercise & healthy living culture, build a thriving community using other games as bait & make tangible impact. It is critical to state that in Port Harcourt where we've started from, most of the native owners sold alot of lands in the center of the city and you can experience them using the major roads for their burial and social activities almost every weekends. This also has led to little or no playgrounds within different locations for leisure. We all know that football is the most popular sports in the world and most people want to keep fit and healthy while doing what they love. The business will uniquely provide a natural pitch which is eco-friendly unlike what's popularly available, also soccer/football, other games and condiments such as food & drinks to keep participants & spectators refreshed.

The main problem we're trying to solve revolves around Fitness, Wellness & Staying Healthy.

Some of the major benefits includes but not limited to; (1) Wellness/Health: It has been overtime proven that over 5,000 steps are needed to keep fit, stay healthy and reducing the risk of dying prematurely to any cause. An average individual playing soccer for about ninety minutes will definitely cover more than the daily intended steps needed so our core is fitness, wellness & staying healthy. (2) Community: Part of our programming is to have members privileges so people are not just being part of a sport or keeping fit but they're networking with critical business & career players. (3) Fun, Welfare & Humanitarian Service: We intend to build a healthy sportsmanship on and off the pitch where people can actually feel part of something that helps shapes the neighborhood or area where they stay as a percentage of our daily, monthly or annual rates will be out into community service.

It is commonly said that health is wealth. So a dead person can't even hustle or try to make ends meet. We all need to be alive first to then determine if we're poor or not. Also the service is intended to employ a minimum of 10persons in each facility and we are already bent on starting with three locations. That's about 30families given hope and economic support.

We learn everyday on the pitch from learning about our individual strengths, the extent to which our own body can move, from the people and experiences we play football with and even during rest periods or from the coaches. Some of the things football teaches you is tenacity, speed, doggedness, goal oriented mindset, to mention but a few. Life is all about continuous learning.

One of our StartUp's unique selling point (USP) are the natural football turfs which is different from what is popularly in the market. We will prioritize opening new facilities in rich neighborhoods where those staying there have to move far away for same service.

Our main potentiometer competitors are existing mini football pitches but we don't intend to open any facility close to such. Our core difference is the soft natural turf where people can fall without the scare of being injured. Also we intend to take the business to new prime locations that no one has entered before.

Yes please, we are the organizers of South South Media Week that fosters conversations, collaborations & transactions. Every year we infuse gender equality into our programs & speaker choices. I'm also one of the founders of Rivers State Music Guild that gives a voice & platforms to help artistes scale. Together we also run The Listening Party Vibes, a platform that puts spotlight on emerging artistes In all these platforms, we've fostered women in music, politics and business. When onboarding vendors & prize categories; we've given a good quota for only females.
