Our project tackles two critical SDGs: Clean Water (SDG 6) and Affordable & Clean Energy (SDG 7). Limited access to fresh produce and unsustainable farming practices demand change. Enter our solar-powered movable hydroponic farms! These self-contained units bring hydroponics (growing plants without soil) directly to communities, requiring minimal water compared to traditional methods. Local production minimizes transport emissions, promoting responsible consumption (SDG 12). Impact: Fresh, Local Food: Communities gain access to high-quality, locally grown produce. Reduced Footprint: Water conservation & solar power minimize environmental impact. Community Focus: Ideal for urban areas, schools, & restaurants seeking sustainable ingredients. By empowering communities with local food production powered by renewable energy, we're not just changing the way we grow food, we're cultivating a brighter future for our planet and our health.
01.02 Quel est le problème principal que vous essayez de résoudre ?
In 2024, Nigeria faces a complex web of challenges: rising inflation, water scarcity, and high food costs threaten food security. Our solution: solar-powered movable hydroponic farms! These self-contained units bring hydroponics (growing food without soil) directly to communities. Compared to traditional methods, hydroponics requires significantly less water, addressing water scarcity. Additionally, local production reduces reliance on long-distance transportation, lowering food spoilage and overall costs for consumers. High Food Costs: Local production helps stabilize prices by reducing reliance on potentially expensive imported food or long-distance transportation of produce. Food Insecurity: Increased access to fresh produce, especially in remote areas, combats malnutrition and promotes healthier diets. Water Scarcity: Hydroponics uses significantly less water, preserving this precious resource for other needs.

10.06 Menez-vous des actions au sein de votre communauté pour promouvoir le rôle des femmes entrepreneurs ?
As someone who participated in the Millennium Fellowship, I've always been passionate about empowering young women. That's why I'm so excited about ENgirls, a program I launched to specifically address the challenges girls face when it comes to entrepreneurship. We all know our community is brimming with talented young women with incredible ideas. But sometimes, the path to turning those ideas into reality can seem daunting. ENgirls aims to bridge that gap by equipping girls with the skills and confidence they need to become successful entrepreneurs. ENgirls is more than just a set of workshops. It's a supportive network where girls can learn from experienced mentors, many of whom are inspiring female entrepreneurs themselves. These mentors can offer valuable guidance and become role models for the girls on their entrepreneurial journeys. The program doesn't stop there. ENgirls also fosters a strong network of peers for the girls. This network provides a sense of belonging and coll
