AGRILOAN is a combination of agriculture and savings and loan. The money from savings and loan shall be used for farming and the money from the farming shall be used to feed the savings and loan. So at the end, the two entities are both interrelated

01.01 Décrivez votre projet en détail

My business has a potential to bring both agriculture and savings and loan under one umbrella. First of all, I will get 150 hectares of land whereby 100 shall be used for maize and cassava and the remaining 50 hectares for vegetables like peppers, garden eggs etc. Secondly I will may sure I irrigate the whole land in order to have all year round farming.Thirdly after a successful harvest, the money from the farm shall now be used to establish savings and loan business. This microfinance business will then use to support my farm and the community as whole in the sense that farmers and traders can save their monies and borrow at very low interest rate around 10% to invest into their businesses. Of course, I may sure i put well designed system in place to avoid any inconveniences. So systematically, money from my personal farming activities and incomes from the microfinance will be used to feed the microfinance. At the end, people from the community will be supported indiscriminately.

01.02 Quel est le problème principal que vous essayez de résoudre ?

My business intends first to reduce the high cost of living specially the food stuffs. That's why I am investing more into primarily food consumption stuffs like maize, cassava and vegetables. I believe availability of these foodstuffs will reduce the high cost on food commodities. Parallely to the high cost of living is lack of finance support most importantly in the rural areas where farming mostly go on so therefore my next problem i probably want to solve is financial constraint, giving opportunity to the farmers and traders through a well structured machinisme to save and borrow money will help them to expand their businesses to a certain level which will then lead to my final problem I envisage to eradicate, high rate of unemployment. Definitely establishing savings and loan business will give some individuals job opportunity and also in the addition to that,the farming will create job opportunities for youths and more also inspire some youths to venture into agriculture.

The major advantages of my service are, first availability of food in the country, my service will make foodstuffs cheaper for less privilege as result they will be able to feed themselves and family. The next benefit is easy access to financial support this is because my service is in the rural areas so therefore it will serve the people in the area specially the farmers and traders. Money will be made available for trades and farmers just to help them expand their businesses. Last but not the least, access to job opportunities. The youth of the areas will be surely engaged in every aspect of the business.

My project targets both the youth and the old. In the farming communities, both the youth and the old engage in agriculture. So therefore both need equally support. But my focus will be more directed to the youth in the sense that they still have a long way to go so they definitely need to use their times judiciously in the benefit of first themselves, secondly their children and lastly the entire family. In as much as the people in the community are direct beneficiaries, the people in the urban areas will also benefit from the productions. Lastly there shall be no gender discrimination in the selection of the beneficiaries which means that each and everyone shall get what he or she deserves according to the lay down rules.

My project takes into account no poverty goal because it is in the interest of eradicating famine which is the major factor of poverty. However it makes money available for people so that they can borrow and use to develop and establish small scale businesses that will at the end of the day set them free the boundaries of poverty. Once this goal is achieved, people will be free from financial constraint and surpass the coverage of poverty.

My project has the mandate to support farmers and traders so they can expand their businesses once this is been achieved, people will be willing to send their children to school without any hindrance because they have what it takes to take good care of themselves and their family as whole. More also young people who couldn't go to school because of one or two things will now have the financial capacity to continue their education through the support of the farming activities.

I myself, I am an avocat for gender equality so my project takes into consideration both genders. No one will be selected base on their gender, so far as you have engaged yourself in something meaningful and need to be helped you shall get the quality help you need but just that you must be eligible and meet the necessary requirements. No one will be favor. Besides I will put a system in place to support female gender as a way of encouraging them but before you access you need to meet the necessary requirements.

It is important to note that water is life. In as much as the people are financially independent, accessibility of clean and portal water will not be an issue . People mostly resort into taking in dirty water because of no availability and incapacitaty to afford the item. Now that they will be doing well in their farming and other businesses it is well to say that accessing clean water is the least to think about. However in the other hand, sanitation will also be incorporated into the daily life of people. People life with sound mind, stress free will always keep their surroundings clean and neat. My project will make sure there is clean and portal water as well as clean and sound environment.

In this our part of the world, it is very difficult to talk about accurate and reliable energy. However with AI ( Artificial Intelligence) will be able to transform the sun energy into usable, once it is done affordability of the reliable energy will be highly assured. I believe having resorted into this life changing business, energy is least of the things I will not think of so therefore I will undertake some project to sustain energy affordability and availability in the area.

My project intends to create direct and indirect decent jobs. Farming is one of the activities that brings forth a lot of productions. Looking at my target crops for instance cassava, it can be used in different domain so transforming cassava alone can create job let alone talk about vegetables and the rest. My business is life changing instrument that will impact positively the community and the country as whole. Since the farming is going to be for all year, the productions will continue to shoot up more and more that will make the business to employ more people.

It is obvious that my business has potential to transform the raw materials in place. For instance,if I take maize, it can be used for lot of things like Tom brown , flour, corn dough etc on commercial quantities. The process of maize alone into different products comsuption is realization of industrialization. The implementation of the above project will bring forth development and infrastructure.

My project supports and promotes peace. My project will help people to get rid of idleness which is mostly the root cause of chaos and mayhem in the most part of the world. My project will prevent trouble and rather promote peace. Nevertheless, we are govern by laws in this country so therefore in the same frame work, my project will put structure in place for the workers, beneficiaries to follow for smooth implementation of the policies.

My project is not totally a new project but rather revamp of an old project. It is important to understand that my project is bringing so many new things on board. Examples of such things: irrigation, transformation of raw materials in place, digital marketing network, online business and home delivery. This will permet people to be connected around all boundaries.

05.09 Qui sont vos principaux potentiels concurrents et qu'est-ce qui vous différencie d'eux ?

My main competitors are farmers of same products but what makes me stand tall among them is my kind of approach and the branding of my products. To add to that, my ability to include technology tools into my business. Besides that my savings and loan has lowest interest rate amount all my competitors that makes my business attractive and approachable to any kind of person.

Yes, I have used my own resources to help some females to persue their vocation. One did catering at vocational school and other seamstress. I said somewhere in the presentation I am an avocat for female gender.
