The main problem we are addressing is food insecurity in Africa caused by high levels of food spoilage and post-harvest losses. Many rural and underserved communities lack reliable electricity and adequate storage facilities, leading to the rapid deterioration of perishable goods such as fruits, vegetables, etc. This spoilage not only reduces the availability of nutritious food but also leads to economic losses for farmers and vendors, exacerbating poverty and instability in these regions. By providing solar-powered refrigeration systems, we aim to preserve perishable foods, reduce waste, and ensure a consistent food supply, thereby enhancing food security, improving livelihoods, and promoting economic stability in these vulnerable communities.

It promotes sustainable practices and contributes to lower operational costs over time. 3. Improved Food Security: By providing reliable cold storage, especially in rural and off-grid areas, the system enhances food security.
