The primary objective is to provide children with the necessary technology skills to improve their educational opportunities and future prospects. The objective of Centre is to redirect young people from hazardous mining activities and towards safer, more productive pathways by providing structured training in computer literacy and digital tools. The name "Kiddipedia" reflects our commitment to children (kiddi) and knowledge dissemination (pedia, inspired by Wikipedia). The initiative also aims to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and innovation, thereby empowering the community by providing access to digital resources and support. Our ultimate objective is to promote sustainable development, bridge the digital divide, and establish a more promising future for kids.

Kiddipedia endeavours to prevent children from engaging in hazardous mining activities by offering structured ICT training, which equips them with digital skills that improve their future prospects. This initiative addresses several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Quality Education (SDG 4): By ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11) By making the community more inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. Increased Opportunities for the Future By providing children with technology skills, they are able to pursue safer, more lucrative professions, diverting them from hazardous illegal mining activities. This increases their future employability. Confidence and Empowerment The centre fosters the empowerment of children by imparting essential ICT skills, thereby enhancing their self-assurance and enabling them to realise their full potential in a variety of disciplines. Enhanced Safety and Well-being This initiative is consistent with and promotes numerous Sustainable Development Goals, thereby guaranteeing a lasting positive influence on the children and their community.

Boys and girls, typically aged 6 to 18, from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, are the intended beneficiaries. Furthermore, we provide assistance to community-led initiatives that are dedicated to the construction and maintenance of clean water and sanitation facilities.

The region's demand for quality education and economic opportunities has not been entirely met by existing programmes, and this unique integration of education, technology, and community engagement fills a critical gap. The project's objective is to empower children to become agents of change in their communities and to create enduring positive change through its innovative approach and commitment to addressing unmet needs within communities.

Indeed, we are taking steps within our community to advance the status of female entrepreneurs. Examples of actions include the organisation of workshops and training sessions that are specifically designed for female entrepreneurs in order to equip them with the requisite skills and knowledge to establish and expand their enterprises. Furthermore, we work in conjunction with local women's organisations and networks to establish mentoring and networking opportunities for female entrepreneurs who are interested in entrepreneurship. This allows them to develop supportive relationships within the business community and learn from seasoned professionals. Additionally, we are committed to incorporating female entrepreneurs as speakers, mentors, and role models in our programmes and events to motivate and empower other women to pursue entrepreneurship.
