01.01 Décrivez votre projet en détail
The scarcity of inexpensive, hygienic cooking fuel causes challenges for the people of Asueyie hamlet, particularly for women and students. They must gather firewood in order to process gari, which interferes with the education of the kids and causes a host of other issues, such as deforestation. This leads to soil erosion, biodiversity loss, disrupted water cycles, and an influence on local ecosystems, agricultural output, and water availability. Burning firewood aggravates respiratory conditions in susceptible groups by adding to air pollution. Poverty is also perpetuated by the time spent gathering firewood, which restricts economic options. Due to its reliance on non-renewable resources, the village's use of traditional cooking techniques leaves it susceptible to price swings and energy shortages. This unsustainable practice perpetuates cycles of poverty in the community and impedes economic progress. A complete solution is required to improve the sustainability and well-being
01.02 Quel est le problème principal que vous essayez de résoudre ?
Clean cooking fuels like biogas and briquettes will be made available in Asueyie village through our sustainable energy program. This will reduce the demand for firewood, lower the risk of smoke inhalation for health issues, and free up time for economic and educational pursuits. The manufacturing of briquettes and biogas from locally available materials will lessen soil erosion and deforestation, protecting the ecology. Clean energy will eventually boost agricultural output and improve environmental sustainability. Through the facilitation of income-generating activities, the program will promote economic development and ultimately reduce poverty. Local production will help the community develop its skills and create jobs. We will strengthen Asueyie's resilience to energy shortages and price changes by achieving energy self-sufficiency, paving the way for a more affluent and sustainable future for the village.

By tackling environmental and socio-economic issues, our solution will foster resilience and prosperity in Asueyie. The community will achieve self-sufficiency in energy, enhancing resilience to shortages and price fluctuations. This initiative will improve residents' quality of life and promote sustainable development and conservation locally and beyond.
01.04 Veuillez décrire précisément à qui s'adressera le produit/service de votre projet. Quels sont les bénéficiaires visés ?
The scope of our impact encompasses the entire population of Asueyie village, which consists of 2,402 individuals, including 1,240 females. This translates to approximately 600 households and 322 houses. By implementing our sustainable energy initiative, we aim to reach every resident of the community, providing them with access to clean cooking fuel and alleviating the environmental pressures associated with traditional cooking methods. Additionally, our efforts will contribute to the preservation of local ecosystems and biodiversity, ultimately benefiting the entire community and promoting long-term sustainability. We hope to produce the briquette in a very large quantity that we will be able to market outside Asueyie to another part of the country and possibility export them
