Our core mission revolves around fostering personal financial growth, success, and overall well-being. At Abella, we are dedicated to empowering both individuals and communities, guiding them toward unlocking their full potential through initiatives such as innovative business creation and management training, climate-smart agriculture for sustainable farming, and the promotion of self-reliance through Business Savings Groups (BSG), we aspire to create a harmonious balance in a green and flourishing living environment through 1/10 of acre of land covered by trees prlanted through this initiative Join us on this transformative journey as we cultivate success, satisfaction, and a brighter future for all.
01.02 Quel est le problème principal que vous essayez de résoudre ?
In Northern Uganda, rural smallholder farmers face severe deforestation due to the return from IDP camps after the 20-year LRA war and demand for charcoal in most urban areas in Uganda. This environmental degradation endangers livelihoods and future prosperity. Abela Thrive Emporium aims to tackle this issue through mixed farming, agri-inputs, market linkages, VSLA, and tree planting initiatives. By empowering communities with innovative business training, climate-smart agriculture practices, and self-reliance via Business Savings Groups (BSG). Our mission is to foster financial growth, success, and well-being while restoring the environment. This project seeks to create a sustainable and green future for Northern Uganda by implementing sustainable practices and reforesting the land.

The Abela Thrive Emporium project targets rural smallholder farmers in Northern Uganda, Nwoya district and Lungulu sub county in particularly those affected by the 20-year LRA war and returning from IDP camps. It aims to support farmers with limited land holdings, empower women and youth, and assist communities experiencing deforestation. The project also benefits members of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA) by enhancing financial literacy and access to credit. By providing innovative business training, climate-smart agriculture practices, and fostering self-reliance, the project seeks to rebuild livelihoods, promote sustainable development, and create resilient agricultural communities.

Unlike competitors who may focus on single aspects like microfinancing or farming techniques, our project combines mixed farming, climate-smart agriculture, VSLAs, business savings groups, and reforestation into one cohesive program.
