These technological resources are crucial for students' academic success and will play a vital role in narrowing the digital divide prevalent in higher education institutions in the country by enabling students to acquire the devices they need to excel academically. By establishing a loan program specifically designed to address this issue, it will serve eligible students with the necessary tools to enhance their learning experiences and their learning outcomes but also equip them with essential digital literacy skills crucial for their future careers.

The lack of access to these resources creates a profound digital divide: The digital divide is unequal access to and utilization of digital technologies, resulting in disparities in educational opportunities and outcomes, perpetuating educational inequities and hindering students' ability to thrive academically. Students without reliable access to good and warranted laptops, tablets, or mobile phones face limited opportunities for online learning, research, and digital collaboration. As a result, the

Even request subsides from Government by importing these resources without any import charges and levies. b.
