My startup focuses on transforming poultry farming. My innovative smart brooder for chicks integrates advanced technologies to provide optimal care for the young chicks. My system closely monitors and efficiently controls both environmental parameters such as air temperature, humidity, CO2, ammonia levels and light intensity as well as operational parameters such as water feed consumption, feed level, functioning of the air control system, feeders and drinkers and waste management to create a healthy environment for optimal hygiene, better environment condition for chicks and it's labor saving. Real-time monitoring and control are facilitated through a screen monitor and a user-friendly mobile app for the farmers with smart phones, enabling them to monitor, track and adjust conditions remotely. My solution minimizes manual intervention, reduces labor costs and ensures consistent growth process and uniformity across the brooder leading to healthier chicks and improved farm productivity

The main problem we aim to solve is human error in handling the chicks. Manual brooding requires constant attention to maintain optimal temperature, humidity, and feeding schedules, which is labor-intensive and prone to human error. Inconsistent care can lead to poor chick health, higher mortality rates, and reduced productivity. Our automatic smart brooder addresses these challenges by providing precise environmental control and automated feeding, ensuring consistent and optimal conditions for chick growth. This reduces labor costs, minimizes human error, and enhances overall farm efficiency and productivity, leading to healthier chicks and more sustainable poultry farming operations. Another problem we are solving is the inefficiency and inconsistency in traditional poultry brooding methods like the traditional charcoal jikos that are health hazard to both human and chicks. Using charcoal jikos leads to cutting of trees which leads to deforestation which is a natural calamity.

Our fully automatic smart brooder is primarily aimed at serving poultry farmers and and hatchery operators, both small-scale, large-scale and commercial farmers. 1) Small-scale farmers - Farmers that lack the resources for continues manual monitoring can benefit significantly from smart brooder, reducing labor costs and improving chicks survival rates. 2) Large-scale Poultry Farms- Operations managing thousands of chicks can use our brooder to ensure consistent care across large volumes enhancing overall productivity and efficiency. 3) Hatcheries both commercial and individual hatcheries- Hatcheries that supply chicks to various poultry farms can use our smart brooder to ensure highest quality and health standards, leading to stronger and healthier chicks. 4) Agricultural Cooperatives and Educational Institutions- These organizations can implement our technology to demonstrate best practices in poultry farming and educate future farmers on automation benefits in agriculture.

11.05 Menez-vous des actions au sein de votre communauté pour promouvoir le rôle des femmes entrepreneurs ?
Yes, I am initiating actions within my community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs. Examples include organizing workshops specifically tailored to female entrepreneurs, facilitating networking events to connect them with mentors and investors, and advocating for gender-inclusive policies in local business organizations. Also I founded a Community Based Organization (CBO) called the New Dawn focusing on livelihood transformation and trainings of women, widows, single mothers, youths, PWDs, young mother's and different groups. We always meet once a week with this groups and I personally talk to them and train them to become entrepreneurs.
