My project entails chicken rearing both for eggs and meat production. I have both pure kienyeji and kienyeji improved chicken in my project.

My project stared on January with 15 kienyeji improved one month chicks with 3 grown up pure kienyeji chicken. The main aim of keeping both pure kienyeji and improved kienyeji was to use the pure kienyeji as eggs hatching since improved kienyeji cannot hatch eggs. The project aims to be the source of eggs and meat production in the region regardless of starting small. This mission is to be achieved in 5 years time with continuous growth and development. My chicken are completely under zero grazing to protect them from theft and also destruction of neighbors property. With adequate finance i can expand my project and increase labour force .

01.02 Quel est le problème principal que vous essayez de résoudre ?

My main problem that im trying to solve is unemployment and food security. This is achieved through creating employment to skilled young men and women in my are and also export food to the urban section.

My start up is aimed at serving mainly students in colleges and universities . This is mainly in eggs where i understand students like eggs for their cheap price and also easy and fast to prepare hence saving their time . I also target nearby shops as i expand my business to be global

Since meat and eggs are food products, this will help in eradication of hunger. Also eggs can be used to control malnutrition to children with malnutrition since its rich in protein.

This is because eggs being rich in protein, can be used to rectify malnutrition in both small children and adults. Chicken also being white meat its proven scientifically to be healthy for human consumption. Finally my products are pure organic hence has no side effects when consumed

This is achieved where by i use qualified person to vaccinate my chicken and also i buy tested and verified feeds . This promotes quality education. I also go to farm training so as to learn more on how to keep my chicken well. I also go to trained person for assistance whenever i have a problem By doing all that, i contribute to quality education

Waste products from chicken are used as manure which is good to the environment. Chicken does not require trees for feeding therefore no need for deforestation. Also chicken only require small pice of land therefore one will not need huge land to grab so as to sustain the project.

Chicken farming has been there ever since but there has been always a gap which i intend to fill

06.09 Analyse compétitive

My main competition is other chicken farms and im planning to produce organic products with limited antibiotics this will be my first step , I will also plan to produce product cheap and ready available by creating an app where the buyer will be ordering direct from the farmer . This will make the buyer have the original product requested and in cheap price since no middle men involved. I also intend to have a continuous production so as to prevent being seasonal but being always in the market
