The African Deposit System is a bottle-to-bottle recycling company. Through our closed-loop recycling system, Reverse Vending Machines, and circular economy, we work to fully recycle manufactured bottles across the country and through effective recycling.

So our process is as follows: The consumer buys, uses, and stores the bottles (until their next grocery trip) - they then bring them to our Reverse Vending Machines (where the machines provide a monetary incentive to their "mobile money" accounts) - We (African Deposit System), then pick the bottles from our machines - take them to our recycling facility - we then recycle the material (according to the EU recycling regulations) - and then provide the new material to the beverage companies - who then fill, label and sell the drinks to the distributors. To which the cycle repeats itself.

* We work to fulfill the following SDGs: 8,9,11,12&13 * We provide full recycling services to beverage companies - who are currently being fined for not being able to balance their production with the recycling rate. * We provide monetary rewards to "low-class" families who may be having a hard time getting by - by incentivizing recycling and ensuring that plastic no longer ends up in landfills. * We keep the streets, landfills, and water streams clean and clear from any plastic particles or spillage.
