There has always been my dream to own and run an animal farm. After campus i had to start with the most cost effective one-chicken farming- which though did not go well as expected, it is running and are the returns are planned to expand to beef farmin

01.01 Décrivez votre startup en détail

After a disappointing start with the Birds, i decided to implement next the idea that i had of beef farming. Bef farming requires alot of capital to start and maintain untill it attains the runing mode power. From the sale of the chicken products, the received capital is aimed to start the already planned beef farming project. Everything has been put in place and the planned construction of the 15unit cattle shed is set to start in the month of july. Receiving a boost in the implementation stage will be more helpfull as it will lead to a greater and bigger outcome. A number of stock cattle has already been inquired and it is just a matter of time we run it.

Anybody who doese consume beef and poultry products is our target customer. The plan is to start small with the local avilable market and advance as things do get better.

The farm is raised and is still run by the owners as employees because of financial constrains. One of them is still an animal health student at Eagerton University on her third year. The other one is a teacher by profession but he is into Farming alot. I am the third and the base proprietor of the business and it is a less than a year after i completed my undergraduate studies. We are still young and struggling financially but we hope to make it work our way someday.

Started with chicken rearing which did not go soo well. After a period of research and gathering information, i haveresorted to using the returns from chicken to finance the beef farm project.

There are a number of small scale farms that are running. I plan to stand out by growing my farm big enough to manage a whole year round products supply.
