I started bee keeping in my farm 6 months ago with locally made beehive because I realised that many people don't take it as some thing to rely on bt for me I realised bee keeping has many benefits around the community as a whole.

I have managed to make some 7 hives for the past six months,I realised that even though i have enough land for like 2000 bee hives they only take limited\ smaller spaces.also there are availability of enough water and plants around the spaces that I want to site my project.If i get funding i will be able to buy bee hives and make others locally like the ones I have,also i need protectively clothes and harvesting equipments for honey, these include setting up of small factory and processing machines.for the honey there is market for some is used for making medicinal cyrup,the wax I can use for products like candles.the projects benefits community in greater because it's major activity is crop growing. The area has rivers and streams with plenty of enough water throughout the year and moderate temperature good for bee keeping.if the project grows big I'm able to solve some of the unemployment problem by employing youth to my farm.I look forward to get the funding from you, thanks.

01.02 Quel est le problème principal que vous essayez de résoudre ?

My main problem I'm solving is 1)low or insufficient supply of honey on the Kenyan market,2) poor crop yield or harvest that is contributed by little or no pollination on my community,3)the problem of unawareness of bee keeping in Kenya by most communities,4) unemployment of most young people whereas they can start beekeeping and earn money from it.

1) solving unemployment especially on people who have land and bushes that are not utilized, people can engage on beekeeping for profit purposes. 2) food productivity, when people practice beekeeping, the bees will enhance pollination of there crops and the entire places they visit to get the honey this benefits to the community. 3)the sufficiency of honey will also make companies that to manufacture drugs easily for the country as a whole without depending on imports.

The target my of my project is first myself,I need to benefits from the honey harvests and the services of bee that comes from the pollination,second is my community

For my project young youths are coming to see how I make my hives and they also go make it locally.From the experience of other owners beekeeping is good because I have seen most of my friends who sell there honey at huge profits especially on urban centres like Nairobi.

food security -bees Will be used to pollinate crops that are grown in the area like maize farms, avocado farms and other fruits. When people grow crops and get good harvests they will sell and get money from there products thus eradicating poverty,also when more people come to my farm i teach them will also get experience and the will start similar projects thus solving the problem of unemployment which will contribute to poverty eradication.so in conclusion I strongly contribute to no poverty in the society.

I strongly agree with zero hunger because when most of the community empress beekeeping it will come with more benefits starting from food production like maize and fruits, where by good profits also comes with getting money to buy other resources thus promoting sustainability within the community.

Yes I strongly agree become in school there is a need to tree planting and also within the community and my project having bees will move across tree flowers thus enhance viable seeds for next tree generation.and also when people have impress the project bee keeping they will get money from it and use for other education purposes.

Clean water is brought about by green environment which is trees and trees are pollinated by my bees thus the more trees pollinated the more viable seeds that spread and grow which will results in clean water and sanitation.

The project is new because many people did not have the idea on the community about beekeeping so it's a new innovation.
