We are speedstar Tent Technology and Welding Fabrication, dealers in tent making, plastic Welding, metal arc welding, we are less than one year old and we are located in maralal town - samburu county The idea off this business came while I was in Eldoret where I acquired the skills from one company. Thought of opening in samburu came after I had stayed in samburu doing a market research. In samburu, one advantage is that there is no competition but the disadvantage is that, the demand is still too low. In Eldoret the demand is too high leading to stiff competition hence destroying the tent market value

Due to high cases of banditry, people are being left homeless, these tents are used to shelter the homeless ones Recently the country had flooding crisis and these tents sheltered those displaced by floodings The north eastern of Kenya is also well known for the drought climate, we also have car parking tents to shelter motor vehicles from excessive sunshine

I am the first beneficiary of this product since it is my source of income County government is also a beneficiary since we are paying taxes Our beloved and able customer, these tents have given them shelter when in need, they have used these tents to shelter there motor vehicles from sunshine and heavy rain

My startup is a source of income to 5 fellow youth, we all have people who depends on us and we depend on this startup, The employed ones had no employment hence no source of income but as we are talking the cleaver ones are their way to end their fears to poverty

I am a mechanical engineer by profession and I personally understand safety rules at work, I have provided my 5 employees with their personal protective equipments (PPE) and everyone is fined once he/she is found not in PPEs at work

My competitive customers are Smart star tent makers although they are 200 kilometres away, we also have Eldocanvas who are 350 kilometres away, I took the advantage of distance to conquer them
