Our project is an EdTech app designed to revolutionize personalized learning in Zimbabwean schools. We offer a free, student-facing app with engaging video lessons, downloadable content, and quizzes aligned with the Zimbabwean curriculum. But here's what makes us unique: AI-powered Personalized Tutor: Students get an AI assistant to answer questions, explain concepts, and track their progress. Data-driven Teacher Insights: Teachers leverage student data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and tailor instruction (subscriptions required). Supports Learner Autonomy: The app promotes self-directed learning, aligning with Zimbabwe's new curriculum focus. This freemium model provides accessible learning for students while empowering teachers with valuable data and insights

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

In Zimbabwean schools, two key problems hinder student success: Limited Personalized Learning: Traditional classroom settings struggle to cater to individual student needs. Students needing extra help or those who grasp concepts quickly often lack personalized support. Lack of Data-Driven Instruction: Teachers are overloaded, making it difficult to track individual student progress and tailor instruction accordingly. This can leave students falling behind or excelling without proper challenge. Our EdTech app tackles both issues: For Students: The AI-powered tutor provides personalized explanations, answers questions, and adapts to their learning pace. This fills the gap for students who need extra help or want to accelerate their learning. For Teachers: The app gathers student data from quizzes and exercises, including both those completed within the app and manually uploaded scores. This data empowers teachers with different students insights

AI tutor personalizes learning, offering explanations & tracking progress. Educators (Primary-College): Schools & colleges unlock valuable data insights with subscriptions. Educators leverage anonymized student data to identify strengths, weaknesses & tailor instruction. This promotes learner autonomy across all levels.

One is an advisor and software developer that I have worked with for one and half years now. I have been using his advices and knowledge to help us get through challenges we faced during product development. The other one is an Intellectual property lawyer who is our legal and business advisor.
