01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Warangarirwa seeks to empower these women by providing them with skills training, mentorship, microfinance support, and educational scholarships. Many women in Africa have been raised with the expectation of early marriage, limiting their potential for personal and economic growth. As a result, they often find themselves as single mothers struggling to provide for their families. These women face numerous challenges, including limited access to education, suppressed skills development, and lack of support from their families or male-dominated work. The program aims to empower women who have been overlooked and marginalized by society, enabling them to enhance their skills, further their education, and pursue economic opportunities.
