Lalla is an app that connects users with reliable house cleaners and babysitters who use cameras to ensure transparency and safety for both clients and workers, allowing homeowners to monitor their home and children remotely in real-time.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Our project is a startup centered around a mobile app designed to connect users with trustworthy house cleaners and babysitters. The app addresses common concerns about security and reliability by equipping our workers with portable cameras. Cameras are strategically placed at different angles around the home, and one camera is worn on the chest of our workers, which can be removed under specific conditions. This setup allows homeowners to monitor the cleaning process or childcare activities remotely in real-time. Users can switch between different camera views through the app by clicking a button, ensuring comprehensive monitoring. For added safety, all videos are monitored and stored for 48 hours to ensure backup security. The app includes features such as worker profiles and user reviews. Our goal is to provide a convenient, safe, and transparent service for homeowners who need reliable help with household tasks and childcare.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

In Algerian society, it is still considered a taboo for mothers and householders to seek help with children and house cleaning due to a lack of trust in others with their homes and children. Which is understandable, this barrier leads to mothers becoming overly exhausted, unable to enjoy their lives, children, and spouses. Mothers often find themselves working around the clock, unable to take breaks or vacations for extended period of their lives, resulting in burnout. Our service aims to alleviate this burden by providing trustworthy, reliable help. By ensuring transparency and security through monitored and recorded camera footage, our app helps mothers take much-needed breaks, reducing exhaustion and improving their quality of life.

1. Enhanced Trust, Security, and Support: Real-time monitoring with portable cameras ensures transparency, addressing safety concerns and building trust. A user-friendly app with quick-action buttons : "Something is suspicious,", "I feel uncomfortable,", "There is a problem," and "I am/my house or child is in danger" rovides both consumers and workers with direct access to our security team for prompt assistance, including contacting police, firemen, or ambulance services if needed. 2. Domestic Help and Babysitting: Provides reliable solutions for domestic tasks and babysitting, whether for one-time needs or as a regular lifestyle choice. 3. Job Opportunities and Income: The platform creates jobs and provides steady income for individuals, supporting local employment and economic growth. We are committed to developing this project further and including more benefits to continually enhance our services.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

1. Working Women/Mothers: To help them achieve better work-life balance by providing reliable domestic help and babysitting services. 2. Stay-at-Home Women/Mothers: To support them during difficult times such as illness, loss of a loved one, or special occasions like preparing for a wedding. 3. Elderly Women: Who need assistance with daily household tasks that they can no longer manage on their own. 4. Parents with Children in Public Schools: Many couples choose expensive private schools only because they offer continuous schedules from 8 AM to 4 PM, making it easier for working parents. Our service will provide affordable childcare at home from 12 PM to 2 PM, allowing parents to keep their children in public schools and still manage their work schedules effectively.

Our project is innovative in several ways. While there are some existing services for domestic help and babysitting, our approach integrates real-time monitoring through wearable cameras for transparency and safety, which is unique in the market. This technological enhancement not only improves service reliability but also addresses the increasing demand for remote monitoring solutions, especially among households with working parents and safety-conscious consumers. Our emphasis on security, coupled with user-friendly mobile app features for live video streaming and caregiver profiles, distinguishes us from traditional services and enhances customer trust and satisfaction.

Our main competitors include traditional domestic service agencies and online platforms offering similar services. What sets us apart is our innovative use of technology for real-time monitoring, providing unprecedented transparency and security for both customers and workers. This approach eliminates misunderstandings, prevents issues, and mitigates wrongful accusations. Unlike competitors relying solely on background checks and references, our wearable camera technology ensures continuous oversight and accountability. This not only reassures customers but also sets a new standard for safety in household service industries.
