The AI-Powered Executive Decision-Making Chatbot assists executives and CEOs in large corporations by providing intelligent, data-driven insights for optimizing decision-making. Leveraging open source LLM like Llama 3 from Meta, the chatbot analyzes vast amounts of corporate data, offering real-time, actionable recommendations tailored to executive needs.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Implementing traditional business intelligence (BI) dashboards is tedious and time-consuming, often taking 1 to 4 weeks to modify or adapt to specific needs. These dashboards typically offer limited value to top management because they rely on basic visualizations rather than cutting-edge techniques. Our solution aims to replace traditional BI tools with generative BI tools that can instantly interrogate enterprise data, search online for relevant information, and generate insights for any question a CEO might have at any moment. Initially, our primary focus is on top management, but we plan to expand to interdisciplinary teams within the enterprise, including HR, marketing, and sales. Leveraging large language models and the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, we are addressing corporate needs for more dynamic and insightful generative business intelligence.

The primary benefit of our project is to empower CEOs with a super-assistant AI, enhancing their ability to oversee their business and competition anytime, anywhere. This AI provides instant insights by answering questions directly, eliminating the need for lengthy reports, numerous emails, and multiple meetings. CEOs can quickly understand what’s happening inside their enterprise and gain competitive advantages through instant market surveys, stock market comparisons, social media interactions, and more. Our solution leverages the power of large language models (LLMs) to create a generative business intelligence tool. Unlike traditional BI, which relies on basic visualizations, our approach uses advanced AI technologies to deliver dynamic insights, graphs, and textual responses. This evolving AI capability provides real-time, actionable intelligence, ensuring executives stay ahead in a rapidly changing business landscape.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

Currently, our product is designed for top management, including CEOs and managers of large enterprises. We are primarily targeting sectors such as telecommunications, oil and gas, banking, insurance, and companies with delta lakes that struggle to leverage their data intelligently. By utilizing large language models (LLMs), our solution transforms vast and complex datasets into actionable insights, empowering executives to make informed decisions swiftly and efficiently.

We have an international team with diverse expertise: Elhadj Chikhaoui, co-founder and seasoned tech entrepreneur with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, multinational corporations, consulting firms, and startups; Faraz Fabian Farid, a German web developer and AI enthusiast with several years of experience in international firms, currently implementing the frontend using Next.js; Asma Bourouba, a final-year student at a top AI school, talented and passionate about applying her skills to business scenarios, who implemented the LLM pipeline using LlamaIndex and Llama 3 from Meta; and Adel Aloui, an open-source enthusiast and passionate coder focused on DevOps, expanding his skillset into LLMOps and handling Django, Docker, LlamaIndex, and various backend tasks.

Our AI chatbot could promote healthy lives and well-being by recommending strategies for affordable healthcare access, such as expanding services in underserved areas or negotiating better insurance rates. It could analyze data to suggest environmental sustainability measures that reduce pollution and waste, improving public health. Through occupational data, it could identify workplace risks and recommend enhanced safety protocols and ergonomic designs. Leveraging health trend data, it could guide effective public awareness campaigns promoting healthy behaviors and preventive care. Additionally, it should prioritize the well-being of its own users by providing accurate health information, avoiding potential biases or misinformation, and ensuring data privacy and ethical use. However, its impact depends on data quality, executive implementation, and complementing broader public health policies, infrastructure investment, and cross-sector collaboration.

The chatbot could then recommend strategies such as transitioning to renewable energy sources, implementing energy-efficient processes, optimizing transportation routes, adopting circular economy practices, and investing in carbon capture technologies. It could also assess climate-related risks and guide executives in developing resilient business models and contingency plans to mitigate potential impacts. However, the chatbot's effectiveness hinges on access to comprehensive environmental data, executive commitment to sustainability goals, and collaboration with policymakers, scientists, and environmental organizations for a coordinated global response.

Our I chatbot could analyze data on corporate activities impacting oceans, like shipping, coastal development and resource extraction. It could then recommend strategies to minimize oil spills, plastic pollution, overfishing and habitat destruction through optimized shipping routes, circular economy waste reduction, sustainable fishing quotas and investing in marine protection. Evaluating supply chains, it could identify unsustainable marine product sourcing and suggest certified alternatives. For coastal facilities, it could guide risk plans against sea level rise and extreme weather. However, protecting oceans requires adherence alongside international policies, research collaboration and societal behavioral changes.

Our AI chatbot could analyze data on corporate land use, deforestation rates, soil degradation, habitat fragmentation and biodiversity impacts. It could then recommend sustainable forestry practices, reforestation initiatives, ecosystem restoration projects and biodiversity conservation efforts corporations should undertake or support. Through supply chain analysis, it could identify unsustainable sourcing of timber, agricultural commodities and other terrestrial resources driving deforestation and land conversion, suggesting certified sustainable alternatives. It could guide optimized land management plans that designate areas for conservation, sustainable use and rehabilitation of degraded lands. The chatbot's effectiveness, however, depends on robust environmental data, executive commitment to sustainability goals and coordinating with governments, environmental organizations and indigenous communities to harmonize conservation and development needs.

05.08 Justification

The idea is innovative because it pushes the boundaries of business intelligence tools to leverage real intelligence powered by large language models, capable of processing vast amounts of diverse data in seconds. Traditional methods, such as those in PowerBI or Tableau, primarily focus on data visualization, presenting information effectively but relying on executives to decipher and analyze charts and numbers alone. Our assistant, however, allows CEOs to focus less on analysis and more on their human role as leaders. This frees up their time to address other critical aspects of their business, expanding its boundaries. Our assistant can handle the workload equivalent to 20 human assistants, managing hundreds of meetings and emails. This enables CEOs to concentrate on core business principles: responding to customer needs and fostering collaboration within and across organizations.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

The main competitors are Amazon Q (https://aws.amazon.com/fr/q/) and BluePrint Generative BI (https://bpcs.com/generative-bi). As this is a relatively new field, there are not many competitors at the moment, and we are among the leading startups working in the domain now known as generative BI. What sets us apart from our competitors is our strong focus on data privacy. Our solution is self-hosted and built using open-source models, ensuring transparency and allowing clients to verify the integrity of the system. The clients we are targeting deal with sensitive data and cannot expose their information to third parties. Moreover, their internal teams may not have the technical expertise required to develop the solution we are building. Within my teams, I always hire at least one female, not just for diversity, but because I believe a female perspective is crucial to project success.
