it is a project that transform plastic bottles in-to polyester fabric.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

We propose to establish a polyester-to-fiber recycling plant in Ethiopia. This plant will convert used plastic bottles and other polyester waste into high-quality recycled polyester fibers which then be used in different garment industries. we buy the collected plastic bottles crush them and turn them into polyester fibers which then be changed into a polyester fabric.

decrease environmental pollution. fight unemployment by creating job opportunity from the waste collection to the manufacturing process. save the foreign currency Ethiopia invest on polyester import. provide affordable fabric for affordable clothing. minimize plastic landfill in Ethiopia

there are many benefits, 1. create a clean environment by recycling plastic bottles 2. provide an affordable clothing 3. reduce landfill waste and water pollution 4. minimize the foreign currency our country invest on importing polyester fabric by manufacturing. 5. foreign currency by exporting polyester fabric

poverty is when an individual is unable to afford the basic necessities by the income he gets, or is unable to have an income because of the work he is doing. our project creates job opportunity for people who will invest in the recycling business, for people who will work at the factory, and even create an opportunity for established recycling business owners as the will be commissioned for supplying the raw material we want for the production of polyester, and mot importantly the fabric that will be manufactured will be affordable since everything is made form cheap waste material, which will affect the price of apparel produced in the country. the foreign currency the country invest for import can also be diverted to healthcare and educational facilities, or any other priorities the people has.

people tend to ignore their personal hygiene, clothing style and other priorities when they are starving, so our project involves people form collecting plastic bottles to distributing the finished product, which incentives every stakeholder accordingly, with this incentive people will be able to afford food, and affordable clothing too.

our main competitors would be cotton fabric manufacturers, what makes us different will be that we provide a more sustainable and affordable clothing fabric.
