Koda Farm, located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is known for its sustainable and innovative farming methods. They grow crops vertically, which means they stack them to use space efficiently and save water while producing more food. What makes them unique is their use of 100,000 old water bottles as containers for growing plants. This not only reduces waste but also shows how they can be creative and resourceful in farming. Apart from farming, Koda Farm is deeply involved in the local community. They work closely with schools, teaching students about farming and providing food through school feed programs. This helps kids learn about food and agriculture while ensuring they have enough to eat. Additionally, Koda Farm cares about the environment.
