Dehab pharmaceutical company will be located at the southern part of Mekell,Ethiopia. The facility for production will be government approval and it will produce an effective pre and post exposure priphylaxis of rabies vaccine against livestock and pets,

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Introduction Rabies is a deadly zoonotic disease which is responsible for more than 55,000 deaths each year. The majority of rabies-caused deaths occur in Asia and Africa. One person dies every ten minutes worldwide due to rabies. About 99% of rabies deaths occur in developing countries. Of this, deaths in Asia account for 56% and the remaining 44% of the deaths are reported to be from Africa. Many of the victims are children, often young boys who are more likely to play with or approach dogs. Despite its significant health impact in developing countries including Ethiopia, rabies has remained neglected by governments. In Ethiopia, several outbreaks of rabies has been reported with increasing rates of human and animal deaths. Around 10,000 people are die every year.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Current problem(challenges)  According to the recommendation made by WHO Vaccinating 70% of the dog population helps to control and prevent rabies virus in human population. Though, there is pre- exposure vaccination for pets, its coverage is very low, its life span is very short and it is not used for other species of livestock.  There is no post exposure vaccine for livestock and pets after neurological sign develops in the country as well as in the world.  The vaccines produced in mammalian neural tissues have the disadvantage of causing severe adverse reactions.  Also it is painful to administer since around 60 needle are injected through navel (for humans). It needs forien currency to buy the current available pre exposure vaccine for dogs only.

Solution  Thus, my product is useful for pre- and post-exposure vaccination of livestock and pets against rabies, even neurological sign develops.  Inaddtion to this the pre exposure vaccine serves permanently once vaccinate.  It is administered through oral. in terms of economic,socilal and environmental are! Economic Issue  The disease is responsible for the loss of over billion birrs with direct and indirect economic costs mainly due to livestock losses in Ethiopia.  In addition, the cost of prophylactic treatment (post-exposure vaccine) for humans is very high and this can lead to the unplanned sale of production animals and assets.  So my product plays crucial role to solve this huge problem. Social issue :  The diseases is highly fatal and causes death of largepopulationIn Ethiopia. Community issue: in the effort of reducing stray dogs, we use Strychnine which has a pollution effect to the environment. Somy product solveit.

Market opportunity (customer segment)  My target market will be the different group of peoples and organizations.  Mainly Farmers  Veterinary hospitals and clinics.  Societies who live in urbans  and from organizations like: -  Drug store.  Veterinary pharmacy.  Public health organizations.  NGO (who works on animal health).

Value preposition  Newness (patent is presented)  It will be near to the customer for easily access  The price will be based on the society living standard  Everything will be labeled and written in the container. To justify : Though, there is pre- exposure vaccination for pets, its coverage is very low, its life span is very short and it is not used for other species of livestock.  There is no post exposure vaccine for livestock and pets after neurological sign develops in the country as well as in the world.  The vaccines produced inmammalian neural tissues have the disadvantage of causing severe adverse reactions. Our poential competitors are NVI but we share only product wich is pre exposure vaccine for dogs, the rests are new ,unique only produce in our company,to describe some of the behaviour of our competitors They don't have any of the aforementioned advantages held by the major, well-known players in this market - yet.  They don't have widespread brand name recognition - yet.  They don't have appreciable market share in rabies vaccine drugs.  They don’t have a unique formula of safe and effective ingredients which none of our products have.

Of i am initiatngi actions in my community to pomote the role of female enterpreneurs, for instance in our project 75% are womens, and i always give priority to females at different works in our community,
