Dawafinder is a platform which enables patients and caregivers to find,check authenticity, afford and take their medication on time . The platform also enable pharmacies to manage inventory and their day to operation using the integrated ERP system .

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Our platform is named Dawafinder it is a mobile application which is used for searching for medications easily after getting prescriptions from health organizations . the process of searching for medication is a big hassle in Ethiopia . we came up with mobile application which help patients and caregivers to search for medications just by scanning the prescriptions , after they scan it our AI help them by locating the nearest pharmacy that have the medication they are searching , it also provide them with the price tag for each drugs. not only that patients can check authenticity of the medication by scanning the QR code in the medication package for protecting themself from counterfeit which is a medication not good for usage . our app also remind patients to take medication to take on time using integrated alarming system in the app. This platform enables pharmacies for managing their inventories , employees, finance and other aspects of their day to day operations.

Yes, we have women entrepreneurs who are new and want to expand their knowledge in new areas. we are supporting them by training them and giving them directions to pursue their dreams. as we operate nearby university compound we often work with students who is eager in starting their entreprenuership journey.
