Ethio alert is a first of its kind emergency response and reporting app that uses GPS data and allows users to report emergencies and call for assistance with just one button. Also includes ID scanning and several other features.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

In tech space we have been working on relatively new ideas in our country, we are also working on an all electrical taxi and delivery app called E-go. Ethio alert is also a very revolutionary app considering the current out dated emergency response system in my country.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

In Ethiopia we currently still use a paper based criminal recording and emergency response system. Communications are done through radios. If i need to report a crime i would have to go to a police station and fill out a form, or point where my physical location is to get response which in Ethiopia is hard cause not all the roads have road signs or numbers.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

Ethio alert will introduce an all new criminal database as well as a new server for all emergency personnel to use, it will allow the police commission to scan ID's, find out crime filled areas, see where officers are in real time. For the user ethio alert will allow them to call for a police officer, a traffic officer, a fore fighter or an ambulance with just one button. It will also show you areas to avoid and much more.

We are targeting people in the major cities, where crime level is high. As well as foreigners.

While i am the only founder of Tech space, i have a few freelance and part time employees, one of them is candise, she is the head of marketing in Tech space. And another part time employee is abel demmsew, an account for Tech space
