A user friendly application that creates a platform that connects the parking warden with the driver and holding them accountable for any wrong doings in that parking lot.

This project introduces an innovative Automated Parking System (APS) leveraging cutting-edge License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology to revolutionize conventional parking methodologies. The system aims to streamline and enhance the parking experience by eliminating physical tickets or passes, offering seamless access and efficient management within parking facilities. Through the fusion of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, the APS employs LPR algorithms to swiftly and accurately identify vehicles based on their license plate information. This identification process facilitates secure entry and exit from parking areas, optimizing space utilization and minimizing congestion.

We want to significantly improve efficiency, security, accuracy, and convenience for both parking lot operators and users, making it a valuable project for modern parking management.

All of us are skilled and ambitious individuals who want to learn and improve, with the girl focusing more on the front end aspect while the guys are more on the back end programming. We are all currently University students who are going to be graduating in a few months apart from one of the guy who will be graduating next year.

We aim to build convenient parking lots that are easily accessible which in return decreases the fuel consumption cars take in finding the right parking lot.

06.08 Justification for my startup

I haven't seen other products that are exactly the same to ours but there are certain aspects of our product that have been implemented in others like the license plate recognition.

I am not aware of any competitors, specially in my vicinity but I have heard rumors that the biggest telecom service provider is developing an app somewhat similar in some aspects with emphasis given to the way payment is processed in paying parking toll fees.
