My struggles with traditional learning and overcoming them with online learning inspired me to launch this startup. HuluLearn was born from a vision to revolutionize education by leveraging technology to break down barriers in online learning and teaching. We empower educators and offer students diverse learning paths to achieve their goals. We’re committed to making education affordable and accessible anytime, anywhere, catering to different learning paces. Our focus extends to reducing educational gender disparities, bridging the gap between theory and practice, reducing gaps between smart students and slow learners, updating outdated curricula, and redefining the true essence of education—learning that aligns with one’s aspirations and goals. Recognizing the disconnect between our country’s education system and technological advancements, HuluLearn provides an ideal ecosystem where both students and educators thrive, where knowledge is shared and no knowledge is wasted.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Our education system lacks flexibility & options and creates barriers to learning that fail to cater to diverse learning styles and goals. It lacks flexibility and options, leading to barriers to learning. It often fails to accommodate diverse learning styles and goals, leaving learners with unique interests or those who learn at their own pace without suitable paths. The system’s rigidity, such as mandatory physical attendance, inflexible schedules, and the absence of choosing preferred educators, results in disengagement and high dropout rates. It also focuses on rote memorization rather than critical thinking and encourages students to study primarily for exams. Education is not as accessible because it requires the physical presence of educators. In addition, educators do not have platforms to independently teach easily and get fair compensation. This leads to a shortage of educators, ultimately hindering students’ ability to explore different fields and discover their passions.
