01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
In Addis Ababa, children face a shortage of opportunities to learn coding and acquire the skills for the future. The scarcity of avenues to gain coding expertise and essential skills for the evolving tech sector poses a challenge. Despite the growth, there remains an availability for learners to acquire coding skills and develop crucial competencies vital for their future. Many schools in Addis Ababa do not provide computer science courses and those that do often lack up-to-date equipment and qualified instructors. This dearth of resources and opportunities hampers the ability of youth in Addis Ababa to equip themselves with the skills demanded by the tech industry. Lack of access to coding skills can impede an individual's capacity to cultivate the proficiency needed in the expanding tech field. This limitation may stem from factors such as inadequate educational facilities or insufficient opportunities.
