Gabina Taxi is a mobile app designed to address the lack of transport & high waiting times in Addis Ababa. the app intends to help passengers by giving info on the nearest taxi station distance, and projected arrival time, and to reserve a seat in a taxi

The Gabina Taxi Mobile Application integrates GPS technology to provide information and data analytics for real-time taxi service updates including the nearest taxi station, enhancing safety, and improving customer experience and efficiency by providing real-time information on estimated waiting times. enables advance seat reservation, real-time availability updates, and secure payment options, focusing on customer convenience and operational efficiency.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Every morning and late afternoon, Addis Abeba's streets witness a unique battle as city residents compete for transportation. The restricted number of buses and taxis in Addis Ababa has resulted in poor quality, safety, and accessibility of service delivery around the city. Users are rarely able to access public transport at peak hours or in adverse weather conditions. and also passengers are often asked to pay an additional fee or depart in the middle of their route.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

• During pick hours when there is high demand the app enables customers to get taxi service easily and priorly • Avoids or reduces long waiting times for customers by enabling them take waiting line and reserve seat online instead of physically present in case of traffic jam. • it helps customers to know or locate the nearst taxi station without ask random people and feeling of unsafe asking other people in unfamiliar places. • the app helps customers to get a taxi service in which there is no cognition of passengers * the app provides that cashless payment system in which avoids risk of theft and traditional payment hasle • provides information about taxi service starting and ending hours for customer.

1 Working Class: The Gabina Taxi App should focus on young urban professionals, offering convenience, efficiency, and competitive pricing through a marketing strategy that includes real-time driver tracking and arrival estimates. 2 Student Service: provides efficient student transportation with real-time tracking, pre-scheduled rides, and student-friendly drivers, enhancing punctuality, reducing stress, and ensuring safety through background checks and emergency buttons. 3 Tourists and Travelers: modern transportation service designed for tourists and visitors, offering efficient and safe taxi options. It streamlines booking, tracking, and payment processes, saving time and eliminating language barriers. This app enhances tourism experiences by allowing users to focus on their trip without worrying about logistics.

My name is leul Abraham and i am an entrepreneur who seeks to serve my community. i have got my B.A and M.A degree in management and Psychology from Addis Ababa University. and I have been working for 7 years at Ethiopian commodity exchange and currently I am working as a speciality planning officer. in addition to that I am working as a board chairman person for Village of light NGO, in addition to that I have was a founder and CEO of Mamar interior design which was my own start up company since 2014 EC. however currently not working with it.

the leading factor in ethiopia which takes foreign currency is a fuel demand. and mismanagement of fuel usage and ineffective transportation system make the resource of fuel wast inappropriate. and Gabina taxi app system enable public minibusses to use effective transport route with efficient fuel usage and plus more promoting electric vehicles. in addition to that working on public transport by itself helps the county to reduce the fuel conception of private car owners in which they can shift to public transport as long as there is an efficient public transport system.

there are big firms that work on cab taxi service in which they are more targeting customers who can afford high price cost in which they have the possibility to extent there services in the public sector. however, the application service delivered by us have different service packages that can stand out and shine beyond our competitors in regards to way of service delivery and pricing of taxis.
